Episode 7 - 7/11 - Discussion - Spoilers

My unspoiled friends don't even watch it anymore. I think that break on July 4th left people forgetting about the show. I will be honest, I kind of lost interest in the season for a little while. I'm back though. Don't know what got into me! :missspeak:

Aside from the real connection that I see between Ashley and JP that is not being shown with any other bachelor, and some other clues, this progression of events is why I think he is F1:

- Last week during their "amazing" date, she told JP that she wanted him to "know the whole journey."

- Her blog from last week clearly stated that it marked the start of her true honest beautiful whatever whatever love story. The only person that even kind of makes sense for in that episode is JP.

- In the beginning of this episode, JP states that he "knows" his relationship with Ashley is at a different level than the other guys. (And I would LOVE to know exactly how he knows this, but the producers obviously left that part of the date out.)

- He gets worried, expresses his doubts to her. She immediately reassures him, and then

- In her blog, she states this was the episode that she started her journal, so her F1 would know her innermost thoughts during the process (or whatever language she used). I don't think it is a coincidence that she reassured JP of her feelings, and then decided to start a journal about those feelings for her F1 to read.

Of course in the last few episodes, the edit will sway towards Ben as F1, but that's just par for the course. I think its JP all the way.

They also feel TERRIBLY sorry for Ryan, and JP is NOT on their radar at all. Ben/Constantine are because they look similar - and JP was basically just "whining" his way to a rose today. Sounds like the EXACT reactions that the episode was edited to elicit!

Bet it really confused them when Constantine and Ben had their dates back to back. LOL Still upset they didn't show more of the date with Ben. I feel for anyone that watches unspoiled. I watched unspoiled until Chaing Mai. Once the orphanage date, then Ben's 1:1 date happened, I couldn't stop myself. Of course, then I was upset that I did because Ben wasn't F1. I probably would've looked sooner, but I didn't know spoilers existed. I can thank Bing for spoiling me. I liked JP though, until I saw how sweet Ben and Ashley were together. So, I was grateful that they were both in the top 2, just not in the right order. LOL

I disagree extently............it is extremely obvious that Ben cares for her greatly!! If you have an open mind, it would be extremely obvious. IMO

Absolutely Jeepers..........not to mention the fact that Lucas, Ames and Ryan were all familiar with his moods....so he has obviously been like that before, jealous, posessive and other attributes that really are uncharacteristic of a F1 edit.

Naturally. They'd just left HK (after an amazing 1/1) but he wasn't too bad until Ben didn't come home until morning. Then human nature kicked in it seems. None of his ex's are speaking out though, so I'm seeing an ongoing problem with JP's jealousy. Also, those guys seem to love bugging him, so who knows what else they said to him to get him going. We've seen evidence of Ben telling him about kissing Ash when it seems like he hadn't at that point in time.... was that an isolated incident? I don't think it was, personally. JP's emotions are probalby just heightened by the bubble of filming this show.

I may be sounding like a broken record in a way but it is obvious that this wasn't the first time he gets into the jealous, possessive moody states........Lucas, Ames and Ryan had him figured out so they had obviously seen it before. As far as the guys seeming to love to bug him........sorry, but where are you getting that from. I never saw that. I only saw JP not handling the situation very well........the other guys were in the same pressure cooker, as other contestants have been through the history of the show. Why is it so different for JP?? why is he so special compared to the thousand or so that have already been through this pressure cooker before........I guess I just don't understand that excuse. I actually think from the way that Ben and Ash were very at ease with each other by the time we saw them kiss on camera that they actually had kissed off camera before that.

I think the remaining guys care about her a lot at the level they are at with her. i would place Ames above Constantine but it seems Ames will go first. Ben is definitely falling for her. He's just so sweet. She's got two very sweet, but different, guys at the top. The finale is going to be tough to watch.
