I agree with you I have been following Nick for 2 years now and I see a caring , sweet, nonjudgmental man. If he wants to be in LA that is his choice. I would prefer it over Chi any day . He is not one that over shares his personal life in fact he still is a private man when it comes to his personal life. I have no idea what Nick is doing except the IG's he post which is mostly modeling pics. or pics. with him and other alumni at Charity events which in fact he has raised the most money. He also does other charity events on his own . He has never said a bad word about anyone and I respect him for that. I am with jen I highly doubt he is just sitting around doing nothing. We have no idea what he really is up to but I am sure he is doing some kind of project. jen said it best he is a doer and giver not a slacker. JMO

Well, we have seen a lot and a lot of previous contestants DO NOTHING at all after filming ended, NOT even Charity!

Nick will be on after buzz tonight

Yay! I love when Nick is on.

I thought Nick has talked too much about himself on Afterbuzz in the past but this last episode I really enjoyed him. He just gets it and knows how things are played.

Here are a couple things he said that I thought were totally on point:

1) He played down Ben's popularity with a bit of realism. So many fans and contestants have Ben up on this very high pedestal.  I think Ben is great too, but as Nick says, "No one is as good or bad as they come across on the show.  Ben's a nice guy but he's not like the second coming of Christ".

2) It's like a high school popularity contest. If you are well liked you can get away with a lot more than someone else (like an Olivia).  Those in the "in crowd" can do or say some questionable things and not get called out for it.

3.) People will say about other cast members what they think will be well received.  So they will pile on the love for someone like Ben who is so well liked, and pile on the hate for someone like JP.  Whatever seems like the "popular" thing to say.  

SM has played right into all this too. Now we have past leads and contestants tweeting and kissing up to any new (or old) Bach/bachelorettes that the public adores just to try to stay relevant and in the "in crowd". Even though I'm sure there are some genuine friendships in all of this, I know much of it is a farce. It's all very transparent and pathetic to me.  Like Nick said, very high schoolish.  This franchise is really not for the mature at heart (on that note, Sharleen really is the panda in this crowd).

I agree, love the honesty. IMO it's all very true, and as sleuthers, we can see right through each of them.

Not sure what to think of the comment "I liked you better on television"
Was she not impressed with Nick?  Did she overstep her boundaries? Did she catch him at a bad time? Was she being sarcastic

He couldn't have been all that bad if they are both hanging on to him and smiling. Why bother taking a pic. I say it's an inside joke.

Or .. He coulda been a jerk after he pic was clicked
