No surprise here.  I think Chris was always the sole candidate from this season and will bring in the viewers.  I do think letting prospective girls know he is a millionaire isn't that wise - gold diggers :shocked!:  are bound to be in the mix.  "Right reasons"

I'm curious as to why the announcement was made now instead of at the end of BIP.  
Regardless, it frees up all the other guys from the season to openly date as there is no longer any mystery here.  

Great that our guy continues to remain classy throughout everything. I think maybe they pushed the announcement up (not that it has been any big secret for a while now) was maybe for casting purposes. The women on Chris' season need to be aware of the lifestyle change Chris would offer many of them and the sooner the cat is out of the bag, the easier the casting should be, assuming the women are there for the right reasons... I am just glad Nick is not the Bachelor and can move away from TPTB manipulation with his head held high.

I'm glad that Nick has moved on and staying away from the franchise. I hope that he posts a pic here and there in sm as I'd like to see a sexy pic of him now and then

It was kind of hilarious how during ATFR we had a heartbroken stuttering Nick on stage and then they cut to the Most Bleachable Moment with all the other guys sitting around doubting his sincerity and intentions. How ironic.  

It's evil editing as Sharleen puts it. They had no regard for Nicks heartbreak on the ATFR. I also did not like the line of CH questiong of Nick, and how he didn't wait to Nick to even go off stage before annoucing to bring out Josh. CH also did not show any sensitivity and empathy towards Nick. It really was not okay. The show is about finding love and if someone genuinely falls inlove and get their heart broken, the human thing to do is to show empathy.

The bahaviour of andi, CH and the TPTB towards Nick was appauling to say the least. Frf

Very spot on the right reasons.... i get a feeling Chris's season will remind me an old reality show prior to the Bachelor called the Joe Millionaire-- about an 'ordinary' farmer (hot, handsome with middle-low income) pretended to be a rich land baron with 20 girls vying for his 'love'. In the end, the girl he chose had to decide whether she would willing to love him and stay with him for his personality --in contrary of the appeared wealth (given that the broadcasted 'wealth' was all totally fake ).

too bad i dont have any interest to follow Chris season to find out the difference  

Corn prices have dropped by more than 25% from last year's (and are the lowest in the last 5 years) so whatever Chris was worth when he was dating Andi and putting corn in the ground is not what he's worth at harvest time which is only weeks away.

I get what you are saying... however watching that scene during the live broadcast was painful for me ...
Nick was clearly upset that evening trying to defend himself with the guys and to have that video play during his discussion with Andi just compounded the discomfort for me.
The fact that Nick was 'right' with the guys (just like he was right with Andi) didn't make me feel better.

it really is ironic with all the accusations made of Nick throughout the season about wanting fame and tv time that of the group of them he is the one that has seemed to return back to normal life for the most part while certain others go on tv just a month after falling so in love and professing love within like 3 days to someone new.
