HNY EVERYONE! Tomorrow's 4am parade call is too early and I can't make it to midnight this year. See you in 2015 where we will be married!

Watching in Texas and wish they would have shown Des and Chris, and Molly and Jason. I know he is the next bachelor but all the focus was on Chris.

4am parade call is crazy and no wonder the "other couples" were busy. (I don't blame them!)

Hope they had fun though.

I didn't really expect it to be about anyone except farmer Chris, so I'm not at all surprised.

I know the Sutters and Mesnicks have their kids with them (minus Riley) and I'm not sure if ABC paid to fly them all out, but it'd be a nice incentive to spend some family time in California. Des and Chris get to take care of some wedding stuff and enjoy a few extra days away, I'm not too sad for them.  But I'm in freezing Toronto, so...

When will they learn? I would be kinda upset but they don't seem bothered by it.    Hope they were paid well.

I would think(maybe even bet) that the trip for the Mesnicks/Sutters/Sarah/Marquel/Des/Chris was paid endorsement with trip included. Why else do it?

I do think they were paid, I wasn't sure if ABC pays for them to fly out with their kids. I'm guessing yes.

It totally makes sense to me. Trista/Ryan are the most recognizable couple on the float and MF is the bigwig so he gets the prime spot. For lack of a better way to say it, the other four just aren't that popular or important to them so they are put on the non-tv side.

I have no doubt they were all paid to attend. I do wonder if the couples who declined did so because they didn't feel the money was worth it and would rather just stay home.

Yeah, no surprises there really. There are other more prominent "faces" of the franchise. I also have no issue with that, it might even be a good thing kinda.
