Des said they were checking out their wedding bands. Maybe they selected them and got them fitted, but haven't picked them up yet?

The Mesnicks are hosting a watch party with Des and Chris for the premiere, so they will be back in Seattle by the 5th.

Yes I remember that, so the wedding can't be on the 12th then, would they not have to be in LA early to do some of the wedding preparation?

My guess is they will leave for LA sometime next week, marry on the 11th, and miss the watch party the next day for hopefully a flight to Hawaii which they said was high on their list of honeymoon destinations.

I know Des and chris will be on the Rose Parade float on thursday and I have a feeling Molly and Jason will be on it too. Looking at Molly's twitter, sure looks like it! These four will have a blast and I love the friendship they have developed!

^It's long been confirmed Jason/Molly would be on the floated. All the married couples were invited, but the latest two declined because of a new baby and a prior commitment.

11th? on a Sunday? Just making sure I'm not confused.

Did anyone see the video clip with Jason and Chris doing the what to and not to do when introducing yourself to the bach? really funny!!

Jason does say at the end to join them for the premier with Des and Molly at Lucia's in Kirkland. If they left yesterday and return on the Sunday it's 6 days, so maybe Molly was just saying a week. It will be a busy week if they are getting married the following weekend!

Yes, only because this was the event date on her bridal shower registry before it was discovered, which she then quickly changed to a random date in December 2015. It can easily be the following weekend.

Also the wedding planners are having a baby today, so I do think the 11th is a little early for them. Steve (the husband) would have to leave his wife and baby in about a week or so... I dunno really .

Or it would not be totally ridiculous to have a Sunday wedding. It's an extremely cost effective way to have a great bash for thousands less and often the venue will throw in quite a few upgrades for free.

bleu: ok I remember that now. January 11 2014 was a Saturday so maybe it was an error in the year.

IA Kasha, a lot of people are going non traditional and getting married during different days of the weeks, so Sunday isn't out of the question either.

Either way, it's countdown now and I'm looking forward to seeing it all unfold for these two wonderful people!

For a Saturday wedding, I would think most of the guests from out of town would have to take Friday off of work anyway and fly/drive to California. So a Sunday wedding would mean they could work Friday, fly/drive to Cali on Saturday, attend the wedding on Sunday, and take Monday off to return home.

I'm purely speculating, maybe the 11th date was just filler. It was the quick date change when some websites picked up on it that made me wonder. And mid January doesn't leave very many options, the 10/11th or 17/18th.
