That quote sounds almost pitiful and sad... I am guessing Lucas's reaction will be anger, possibly a Bentley reference :puke: Ryan's has to be more heartbreaking to set up for his later return

I agree. I don't think anyone would be heartbroken over Lucas, especially with the way he acted last episode.

Thanks! She loves JP so I wonder if he's the green eyed monster who's jealous and she's teasing or it really turned her off from him. I'm kinda leaning towards it being someone else with this tweet though.

I actually think its Ryan. He hasn't been on a date yet, and Ben comes home the next morning. Plus if you read the episode description below, the bolded actually could mean that the jealous man is simmering at the hotel.

However, the next morning when Ben F. doesn't return from his date, it drives one of the bachelors into an emotional frenzy. When Ben F. finally does return, the jealous man storms out of the room, unable to control his emotions.

On an unusual three-on-one date, Ames, J.P. and Lucas join Ashley in Taipei's world famous photography district. She informs them that they will be dressing up in traditional wedding attire and taking customary Taiwanese wedding photos with her. As they kiss and pose for the cameras, the envious man continues to simmer with jealousy. All three men impress Ashley, but only one will get a rose guaranteeing him a hometown date. Who will it be?

Why on earth must it be Ryan ? The episode description clearly says that the jealous man is on the Group Date.

Ryan has his own 1 on 1 date.
Lucas, Ames and JP are on the Group Date. It is one of those 3. Previews have already shown JP to be might uncomfortable with his vien poping lol. He looks pretty pissed !
So can someone please explain your line of thinking ?

nd4reality, I'd interpreted it the exact same way you did at 1st. But, like people are now pointing out, you could actually read it as Ryan simmering with jealousy back at the hotel while the 3 guys on the group date kiss and pose for the cameras.

I could be wrong NV, but I think Ryan's is after the GD.

I believe Ryan's date is the last date of the episode, so the other interpretation could fit. I admit I didn't consider it at first, and it's still somewhat misleading, probably purposely, if it really does apply to Ryan. I am sure the producers want the viewers to assume it applies to JP, whether it does or not.

Sigh. Ryan is going to simultaneously embarrass himself and make all the women in America root for him as Bach. I need to see this exit but I already see my cold heart hardening and getting annoyed at the theatricals. Ryan is no adorable, lovable AshleyS.
