Gotta say, I'm kind of surprised they left that comment of Ashley's in there, when they could have easily omitted it. (Maybe it's the clue?) It certainly leaves the impression that their date went a little further in terms of the "physical intimacy" than perhaps Ashley was intending to go with anyone at that point in the process. In a way, I saw a bit of a parallel with something that happened with Ryan, but with opposite results. I think when Ashley had her makeout session with Ryan when he comforted her after the roast, she felt embarrassed and regretful afterwards that she went that far with him, and as a result, pretty much shut him down on the physical affection front. If she felt the same way about JP, she wouldn't still be jumping all over him, but would have pulled back a little. That kiss on skates sure doesn't look like she had any regrets though.

The only way I can see her jumping off the JP tram and onto the Ben putt-putt is if she all of a sudden, got scared at the end (maybe her family slowed her down?) and decided to go with the less "intense" (or as Lucas described it, "serious") relationship. And if it's less serious, then maybe Ben can more easily forgive her "wild" date with JP as well.

I can't imagine that happening. I'm sure he'll impress her family by promising to love her and make her happy like Roberto promised Ali's mom. Besides, they were ready and willing for her to marry Brad, so I think they'll be fine with JP. LOL.

ITA with you about Ryan. I think she felt really embarrassed that she let him "comfort" her by making out when she was feeling blue and decided she didn't like him more. Also, she seems like a girl who gets really attached if something physical happens so yeah, IMO, she was way more attached to JP post-HK than before and we all know how attached he got. Obviously, it all worked out okay in the end.

My point was that we all know Ben is the dark horse, and they'll want people to think he goes galloping ahead to win.

I think they just want someone to offer any type of competition to what is so blatant and obvious on our screens.

I wonder how much they prodded Ben to spill his guts while at the same time telling JP to hold off for his FD? Wouldn't put it past TPTB.

but this does not fit the : I want to meet your family SO bad, the teary eyes, her taking the initiative to kiss him etc

wild could be because of the crew or technical problems of some sort that they had to tape again and again

I said her family, not his. When the guys meet her family in Fiji, what if they think that JP is moving too fast, and that she would be better taking things slower with Ben (not that they would probably show that conversation on film anyway)? I really hope it's not the case (and it wouldn't be the first time the family gave bad advice!) but I'm trying to keep an open mind to that spoiler, and make sense out of how Ashley could get from where she seems to be now, to picking Ben, and there's no way I believe that her connection with him was the stronger one all along, which would mean that the editors cut out all of their "too obvious" interactions and showed us only a few boring ones, and that she was only interested in JP because he was a hot kisser.

The "wild" comment was in response to JP saying the date was incredible, intimating that they had reached a new level of closeness as a result. I don't think it had anything to do with "technical problems", if you get my drift!

I didn't mean to offend you, but it sounded like you misread my comment and I just wanted to clarify I was referring to her parents, while it seemed from your response like you were referring to JP's parents. That's all.

Maybe Ashley & Ben had their own wild night. They & CH made a point of saying that they had separate rooms and I think Ben said they slept in different rooms but maybe they didn't sleep or use the separate rooms. ........ yes I did go there.

And this is why I think her saying about wanting to leave with her Husband is NOT far fetched..Even tho I think its too quick..BUT with NO regrets..who knows? She also said something like she can't live without him..

Not sure when he was last spotted, but I sometimes wonder how much time JP can take off from work, since we know he will be out in LA next weekend (as will Ben) to tape the ATFR on Monday, the 25. I assume since Ash will tape the MTA on the 23, next weekend will be a safehouse weekend. Maybe he's in NYC working this weekend to make up for it.
