Exactly. It seems like they (CH, producers, etc.) are pushing him on the audience too hard at the last minute IMO

I think we can all agree that's what the storyline for the remainder of the season will be, whether or not the "dark horse" can surge ahead of the frontrunner. Do they hope to get more people pulling for the underdog by presenting things this way? Possibly, but is that so people will be less outraged when the dark horse wins, or is it just to cast some doubt on what would be otherwise a foregone/predictable conclusion?
