I sometimes think.....Fleiss knows and allows it. I mean we have an obvious F1, according to some, and if Ben is tweeting, he couldn't obviously be anything other than the F2. Then Ben is spotted here and there, but still no pictures. JP is missing in NY on safehouse weekends. Obvious conclusions are made.

Then again, everything just seems to obvious. I am preparing to get bit on the rear. LOL Nothing is ever this cut and dried. Some people say he owes the viewers a love story over the last season. I still don't think he would just let everything play out so obviously. This is strictly JMO.

I have to agree. It feels like they're just giving it right to us. I can't remember it ever being this obvious. There must be some twist, right? Something?

Honestly, it didn't scream JP to me. It didn't really scream anyone for that matter. I took it that she was starting a journal because this week is the first week she has been completely Bentley free.

I have heard people argue the fact that she started this journal because she had a great date with JP on the tram. Okay, could be true, but I also remember that she was cuddling with Ben on the couch during the group date dinner. There were some serious things discussed. And just like JP's date, we didn't see everything they talked about. So, to me, she had a little bit of special time with both guys during the "kick Bentley to the curb" week. She also had a fairly long conversation with Ben during the RC. I've heard people say that it wasn't important or they would have let us see it. Okay, could be true, but maybe what they said was too important to be shown on TV at this stage in the game. No-one really knows.

There are always two ways to look at things. I try my best to see both sides to an issue, and it's really not hard in this case, because I like both guys. But, NO, to me, and in "my honest opinion", I did not see anything that just screams JP. But, maybe that is because I am noticing the whole thing.

Yeah, I read that. And I'm kind of on the fence about it. Because of the whole JP or Ben discussions. I have went back and watched the episodes. I looked at it from a JP standpoint, then I looked at it from a Ben standpoint. It's not that hard for me, because I honest to goodness liked JP straight out of the Limo, but after the orphanage date, I started liking Ben. From a JP standpoint, I would say....yes, that is who she is talking about.

But, this is where I waiver. I read her blogs and watched the episodes. She also stated that the orphanage date was what "solidified her feelings" for Ben. Then on the night part of the group date, Ben asked her why she was buzzing around him and she said because I like you now. And when she gave him the group date rose, she started talking about the person she was going to give it to. She wanted the person to know she had strong feelings for him. And she said this in front of everyone. I watched JP's face, he thought that rose was his the way he smiled. But, then she gave it to Ben. So, I've noticed everything. Or at least I've tried to. This is also the same date where she steamed it up on the Beach with JP.

So, I still don't know if it necessarily screams JP. I could watch the actions and say, "Sure it's gotta be JP." OR should I go with what she says out of her own mouth and written with her own hand. What she said wasn't a voice over. This was also the episode where it is the last time she talked about magical kisses. She still may be kissing JP, but she hasn't said anything about them since that episode either. Ben was also the first one with a 1:1 the next episode. And she's says all kinds of things on this date too. I thought the dinner conversation was very telling.....even though we didn't see them make out, however, when she picked him up for dinner, she did hug him and kiss him. Then the next episode was the tram with JP.

So, objectively, and completely my "personal opinion". She could mean either guy. I see moments with both guys. I'm not entirely convinced of who she is talking about. On what side I want to say JP, but I can't just throw out everything she has said about Ben either. If she didn't mean what she has said about Ben, why say them. And she has also said some telling stuff about JP. I think at this point the girl is on the fence between JP and Ben. JMHO.

I can see what you're saying. I'm just wondering how early on she knew where her heart was because she was all about Bentley the first three episodes and in that episode she said he was the only one she saw in the ending and that she didn't know if this was going to work for her. We saw her say that. No voice overs. So could this mean she picks no one? I guess I can see how it could be either JP or Ben, though. I'll have to watch both of their scenes with Ashley like you did and see what my opinion is after.

I don't think she was obsessed over him while he was gone. Most of the Bentley mentions were voice overs. She looked genuinely tearful and upset to me in her ITM when she said Bentley was the only one she saw in the ending in episode 3, so I don't know.

Anyway, she said she was 95% sure by HTDs, so we'll have to look carefully at what she says on those.

I think that she narrowed it down to Bentley and JP right away. When Bentley left she realized all her eggs were in one basket which probably scared her. What if JP doesn't end up being the man she wanted him to be? We saw her have questions about JP's past dating relationships. She knew that Bentley could commit since he was already married. I do agree that Bentley was definitely on the radar but so was JP. It just wasn't part of the storyline. JP needed to be the hero who came and saved her from evil Bentley (both on the pajama date and in HK).

I agree, I think the hometown dates will reveal more information. Honestly, I am a Ben fan, but that's because "I" prefer the sweetness. I cannot deny the passion I see with JP. But, personal experience, hot fades and then what do you do?? That is strictly my opinion. I just see Ben as a lifer. But, that is just my personal romantic belief.

I also keep thinking about the fact that she says in her intro that she is ready for her fairytale. And then this past episode we hear Ben saying that this is just like a fairytale. Clues, drama, editing, etc. Who knows....I just think it was sweet that they are both looking for their fairytale ending. It would be nice. But, of course, there is always the bachelor/ette reunions. LOL They have produced a number of successful couples.

I believe, as you, that she was truly into Bentley. It was very understanding and sweet of JP to listen and help her out of the Bentley drama. To me, he got cheated out of the 1:1, because she was focused on her feelings of Bentley. And truly you have to admire him for taking it on the cuff, and still turning it into a good date. I really think that is why she wanted to tell him privately about the Bentley situation, because he was there for the beginning of her Bentley breakdown.

So, I consider Ashley to have been Bentley driven for the first, at least, 3 episodes. She was just trying to turn a corner in the 4th episode. I truly believe this season didn't really begin until the 4th episode. It may be an unpopular belief, but "if" she truly was into Bentley, it is my logical assumption. I am sure we all know what assume means?? LOL So, JMHO, if you take the show from the episode where Bentley is at least out of sight. The fourth episode is where we begin. And, yes, I think the VO's were overdone. I think that she truly started her search in episode 4. I don't believe that she was so hung up on Bentley that she couldn't exist. I think they over-played the Bentley saga with VO and PI's. So, if I take the story from episode 4, I think I see both boys running neck and neck. One for the emotions and the other for the passion. I think she is going to be torn. It just depends on how she sees herself. If she is off the wall serious about family and home life. Settling down. I think she will go with Ben. If she is still at the point in her life where she just "wants to see", then she very well could pick JP.....because he is a mystery, and frankly, passion is a really good thing. It just depends. I am still on the fence, I think either way she goes, Ashley has a very great couple of guys to choose from. Either way, she can't go wrong. The FRC is just going to be heartbreaking, because I think they both fall extremely hard.
