Hey Bear is probably two-fold. 1. It is the pronunciation of her last name "Hebert" and 2. Brad gave her a Teddy Bear on their carnival date and she called him "hey bear" when she was packing to move from the LA mansion to Vegas.[/quoe

Where I am from (the Big Easy) and cajun country, Ashleys' last name "Hebert" pronunciation is A-Bear.

I agree! I enjoy and appreciate snark. It really makes light of the situation... at least in my opinion it does. We all have to be able to laugh at ourselves. :D

ITA. I think some people have said that Ashley's sensitive because of how she reacted at the roast date but I think that was completely different. For one thing it wasn't all that funny and she was sensitive to the guys wanting Emily or Chantal so it hit a nerve. I can't imagine anything a blog writer has to say would faze her in the least and she'd probably find it funny.

I don't think Ashley is as sensitive as she appears. She took the small boob jokes really well.

i had to crack up over that!! the only way someone can look single would be being openly flirtatious with the opposite sex --wouldn't expect him to be allowed to do that tho...but chantal was dating during airing as we know now
