I think it just shows Ben is immature and has a lot of growing up to do yet. I think he's probably a nice guy, but more of a frat-boy party type than ready to settle down at this point in his life. That doesn't mean he's a bad guy, just not the guy for Ashely at this point in her life. JMO

I cant imagine Chris L or Kiptyn or Reid posting something like that about Allie or Jillian, can you? just not a cool thing to do on any level.

Have you read the latest blog? He pokes fun at Ben a lot. I really hope that Ashley isn't taking that blog as seriously as you guys are. It's major snark and meant to be offensive if you're easily offended. I think Ashley has a much better sense of humor than you give her credit for. Oh and btw Chris L would absolutely have tweeted that link with his crazy sense of humor. :Nod:

I agree about Chris L. He has absolutely shocked me a few times with some of the stuff that comes out of his mouth on beatdown. LOL

I think the blog is hilarious. IA and think Ash has a great sense of humor and on the whole could laugh at that snark. I don't think LA has said one thing about Ash that she couldn't laugh about! One thing that was a little close to the mark though was the reference to Bentley and the fact that the F1's fiance shouldn't be too smug seeing as though she was in love with old Bent One a few weeks back.

I think that Ashley is sensitive to some criticism otherwise she wouldn't have been so affected by the things that were said on the Roast date, nasty as some of them were. I did read his first blog and thought that some of the things said were funny, but some were close to the mark. Comes with the territory you appear on a TV show, people blog about it and the bloggers can be somewhat nasty about it.

hmmm the blog is written in very rough language and I can see how it can be funny to some with a certain kind of sense of humor (CL being one of them especially with his view about this bogus show) but it is bordering on highly inappropriate and directly insulting to the people in the show...i think its more a matter of -- if this was spoken it would be a lot more funny than in a blog

But aren't we all somewhat incredulous and thereby insulting of the sanity of people who go on this show just for our entertainment? Whoops, maybe that's just me! I am grateful that they do this for our entertainment but how many times have we heard "well they signed up for it, so they are fair game." I find RS more tasteless and base in his language. I don't particularly find the language in LA's blog rough, but maybe because I have "that certain sense of humor" that you speak of.

I think Ashley may generally have a great sense of humor about these things, but the timing was bad. It was right in the middle of her being scathingly trashed about her idiocy with Bentley. I would think her fiance wouldn't find it an appropriate time to pile on, but what do I know?

Ben seems like a nice guy, but several clues lead me to believe he is a little immature/frat boy-like when it comes to relationships and where he is in life currently. If we put any credence in the idea that the producers are giving us clues to the guys' personalities by selecting the specific questions that they do to use in their bios, reading Ben's sounds like a (very) young guy who is mostly interested in partying, sports and hanging with his buds. At 28, he hasn't dated much (we assume) for 4 years; I don't see him as ready to jump into a quick engagement yet. Maybe Ash picked him, but I am pretty doubtful that it will turn into another Ali and Roberto.

Agree...bad timing that was the one blog that did make wince and go "ouch"!

Yes....this is indeed true... and I'm actually one of the people that actually enjoyed reading the blog and found it funny. I just found some of the actual insults being used tasteless for a BLOG and even unnecessary to make the rest of the blog hilarious...I think if it were in conversation it would be funny and have more relevance
