Chantal O'Brien - Bachelor 15 - Discussion

It's nice to see a woman look healthy like Chantal does and not like she's always starving herself. She looks perfect to me. She's the total package, stunning and absolutely a naturally gorgeous woman.

Just to make sure, I am under the impression that snarking on the contestants is fair game, but snarking on posters is out of bounds... do I have that right, or am I under a misapprehension?

And if I misunderstood the reference to 'bottom feeders', I apologize...

That was a FORT rule, and although there isn't an actual rule here as such, I'm assuming badmouthing each other is probably not a good idea

Also, the bottom-feeders name was referring to those tabloids and just people out there who criticize Chantal's weight - we most if not all of us adore her here, so we're good

I was just a little sensitive, since I was once called "sarcastic"(guilty) and "rude"(not guilty) on FORT for snarking about Chantal's weight gain...

As my grandfather said, "throw a rock at a pack of hound dogs, and the one that gets hit hollers"... guess I was the hound dog in this case...

I came back from watching DWTS and Castle and saw this. Hey Rich, I was not referring to you at all - I wasn't referring to anyone in particular, but then again I didn't even remember you saying anything about Chantal's weight at FORT. It is against the rules to get on the poster's case there and, while I'm unaware of any rules about it here, it is, of course, in absolutely nobody's best interest to get into flame wars on any board. And it certainly wasn't my intention to start anything like that here.

And thanks, Ninu, you are correct - you nailed what I was specifically referring to with regard to bottom feeders.

One of the things I was loving, so far anyway, about this board, has been the allowance of specific threads, like this one for Chantal, that can be used for a bit of unabashed, unashamed, unapologetic fan worship, something that is admittedly completely frowned upon at FORT, and I suppose, for good reason. But I can't help it - I loved having a thread like this to express a little Chantal love

Anyway, Rich, I want you to know that I absolutely never intended anything negative directed at you, so please accept my apology for making you feel that I did. It is the last thing I would want to do. My hope is for this to be a fun and happy board for everybody.

Thanks EF, sorry for surprising you with such nonsense when you came back from your evening viewing, it was totally a misunderstanding on my part.
