I agree - Chantal and Reid are my two favorite ever. He was so cute and Chantal is beautiful and both have such wonderful personalities. I so wanted both of them to end up with the or and ette but I am so grateful now that neither one did. I wish the best for both and hope that we can keep up with the good things in their lives because by being on the show we were introduced to them and made to feel like we know them, even though we do not really. Congrats to Chantal on your engagement and glad to have you posting here.

Oh yeah...and to make things very clear since there has been speculation:
1. I have never cheated on anyone in my life. When a 10 year relationship ends, people who don't know better look for possible reasons because they just can't understand. I think it is funny that some people choose to believe negativity without any facts. It says a lot about their character.
2. I never tried out for the bachelor more than once. Some reporter that talked to my Dad earlier in the season reported it wrong. Somehow people ran with it. Everyone that does the show gets flown to California to meet with the producers as a 2nd audition.
3. After going on the show I wanted to be out of the limelight. I still do, however, I think it is cool that you all have given me so much love so I am just trying to give a little back. I have turned down every request for interviews with the exception of ones that I have been contractually obligated to do.

Hello Chantal! Thanks for setting the story straight on those rumors. I hope we will remember what you wrote the next time stories get passed around about contestants. There are always gossips and jealous people who make up and spread stories about others so they can feel superior (or make another contestant on this show look better).

It's also a good reminder that journalists make mistakes or have bad sources, and something printed in a newspaper doesn't make it fact.

You were by far the best thing about last season and I'm happy you found love! He's a lucky man.
