Chantal O'Brien - Bachelor 15 - Discussion

Whether or not any of us agree on the length and/or speed of Chantal's engagement is irrelevant. The couple is clearly happy, and I wish them good luck!

I wish them well also - I absolutely adore her and want the best for her.

I guess I'm confused. Who is the goose? Who is the gander? What does it all mean!!?? :sad:

Seriously? I didn't get engaged until I was with Mr. S and had lived together for 4 years. My sister got engaged after 3 months. Different people. Then again, she wasn't recently divorced or hadn't recently gone on a dating show, so there's that to consider, but at the end of the day if the person is right it will work, if the person isn't right it won't.

Thanks Anders. Just not sure who the "others" is in this situation? I admit, I haven't been paying that much attention since the season ended. What is the situation this refers to??

Ditto. She's always going to be one of my favorite contestants from TB, and it's so nice to hear how happy and in love she is right now.

ITA mnmhuges!! They are keeping out of the limelight as much as possible. Did I miss something in a recent tabloid? Didn't think so. :giggle:

Nothing in the tabloids, I believe. I don't think there will be. They are 'yesterday's news' and since Chantal didn't 'win' the show she was a small player anyway. Comes with the territory on this show, the intrusion into your personal life, and I think Chantal did everything right after it ended, particularly deleting her twitter account. Shows that she was serious about keeping her personal life private.

Yep, and Jeff recently deleted his Twitter too! Shows how much they want to be private.

I wish them the very best and I am very happy for Jeff and Chantal. She would have met him even if she didn't go on the show. Her friends wanted to introduce them and then she got the call to go on the show. So they met as soon as she returned home and she was out of the mindf**k of the bachelor bubble. It's a beautiful love story that happened in real life, without a script, and seems like it was destiny for Chantal and Jeff to fall in love.

She had to kiss a dragon first before she found her prince charming, and I bet it's all worth it now
