I thought this was just one person stating it on a message board? As far as I know, no tabloids, newspapers, etc, have spoken out about this. We don't have this person or anyone who knows him or anything about it speaking out to anybody publicly. Seems to be just a rumour.

Well, usually when people divorce, after a time, they do get back out there. Rarely do people become nuns. I would expect a young lady in her 20s to be interested in a possible new relationship.

and just prior to going into the Bachelor she tried to get back with said first love of her life the ex hubby, unfortunately he was already engaged to another woman.

Another rumour I believe.

Three weeks into the show she tells Brad a man she just met she was in love with him( her words not mine).

True enough. She has said, quite self-deprecatingly, that she knows she wears her heart on her sleeve. She seems comfortable with the teasing she received from falling so hard, so fast. She did like, though, knowing that she was open to love again, so it turned out to be a positive thing for her.

Upon losing said man(Bachelor) she was in love with from the show, we are to believe she unexpectedly after months of being home( rumor has it, it was actually rather quickly after returning home she began dating Jeff) falls in love with current love of her life, while per shows guidelines you are not to be seeing anyone,

I don't think we really heard much about her and Jeff until just before the show ended? So they seemed to keep it pretty quiet for awhile, as per the show's rules. Must have been hard for her, knowing that everyone thought she was with Brad. She did a good job hiding not only that she wasn't but that she was happily with someone else!

but hey I am all for breaking the rules and screwing MF.

Don't get me wrong, i hope her and Jeff work out, i just think Chantal likes the meaning of being in love versus truly knowing what the love of her life truly means. JMO

I hope they do too, but if not, I'm sure she'll find the love of her life eventually. I know when I was in my 20's I went through a few frogs to get to my prince, and that's part of the process. It's not very often that we stumble across the right guy immediately. I am sure she thought her husband was it, and 10 years is a long time to be together. I hope that after the heartache she has felt, from her failed marriage and from the show, she is just having FUN and enjoying life. No need to take it so seriously at her age.

I still have a problem since there are no real photos of the two in severl weeks. I am thinking there are lots of problems and they are trying to keep them underwraps. If they were doing so well why would they not be out there showing it daily?

Chantal and Jeff?? Because they're trying to stay away from everyone - Jeff has never been part of TB bubble and Chantal's experience with TPTB/Brad wasn't too positive - so I'm not surprised

But it sounds like they're happy!! :db: :shimmyshimmy:

This is a bit OT for this particular couple, but relates to the topic of the bolded. Why is there such a great need to "show it daily"? I realize in this day and age we have to expose every single nuance and boring detail of our lives and call me totally living in a cave, but personally it grates on my last nerve that everyone out there thinks they need to post personal pictures of themselves and their families' every last thought/action and photo out there for all to see. What ever happened to privacy and just living life?? The very last thing I would want in my own life would to be scrutinized 24/7. Especially, since once out there on the WWW it's taken on a life of it's own forever.
JMO and obviously why I am not doing reality tv.

For me, Chantal refusing the role as Bach'ette and then deleting her twitter account says that she had her fun and is going back to living a normal, press free life. Good for her but I hope she does give us updates now and then through people like Ashley S. She was the highlight of the season and I wish the girl well, regardless of where her future takes her

I think the big difference is, Chantal and Jeff never put themselves out there as a couple, on any day. The only photo in a tabloid was a candid one shot of them walking together, I believe. There have been no articles/photo shoots that they have participated in, they don't have a website and she deleted her twitter account. Despite what many may have thought about her, she doesn't seem to want the spotlight. I would bet a ton of cash that they offered her the Bachelorette job, and she turned them down because she wants to focus on her very normal relationship with a very normal guy.

Say what you will about Chantal, but famewhore she is not.

My question is, where would you expect these photos to be? Chantal doesn't have twitter, does she use facebook, or does Jeff? Where else would they post them? I doubt any paparrazzi are following her activities in Seattle at all, as, unlike Brad and Emily, she and Jeff are not the Bachelor couple 'of record'. If she was (like a lot of them) trying to get her picture in the press, she probably could, but it sure doesn't look like that is her plan. And whether she's still blissfully in love with Jeff or not, it doesn't appear that she thinks it concerns anyone but the two of them. "Shocking" I know, but I say good for her.

I honestly don't think there is a difference if you are the bachelorette or not. She was F2 so there is an interest out there. I think she is avoiding the press and that is suspicious to me. If she was that happy I would think she would flaunt it. JMO

I know this is all tit for tat for Emily and Brad so I have no idea why I'm responding.

Anyway, the point is, there comes a lot of heat with being the lead couple and all of them get roughed up until they prove they're the real dea. It's just the way it is. OTOH, if Brad and Emily make it, get married, etc. there come a lot of perks with it too, not limited to an engagement ring and an incredible wedding.
