Chantal O'Brien - Bachelor 15 - Discussion

There has been a long history of the also rans on this show finding love almost immediately after their stint, or in some cases, reconnecting with a former love (it appears that undergoing the Bachelor "experience" does have some therapeutic benefits ), so it's possible Chantal and Jeff are the real deal. Time will tell. I think we can all agree that he's a better match for her than Mr. Womack, at least.

Well, let's look at Chantal's past love's... she's 28 and with the guy that she married for, if I remember correctly, close to 10 yrs. She then dated causually but nothing worked out before going on the Bach. She fell for Brad while on the show and then after being home for a few months, fell unexpectedly in love with Jeff. Doesn't sound like a girl that falls in love at the drop of a hat to me. Now if she'd dated a billion guys like Emily has.....now that'd be something :giggle:

Yes lets do look at Chantal's past loves...
while married to supposed first love of her life, she had the man(cop from grocery store) she cheated on hubby first love of her life with. Then while divorced she casually dated ( assuming no loves of her life came during this period of time), no one knows how many men, and just prior to going into the Bachelor she tried to get back with said first love of her life the ex hubby, unfortunately he was already engaged to another woman. Three weeks into the show she tells Brad a man she just met she was in love with him( her words not mine). Upon losing said man(Bachelor) she was in love with from the show, we are to believe she unexpectedly after months of being home( rumor has it, it was actually rather quickly after returning home she began dating Jeff) falls in love with current love of her life, while per shows guidelines you are not to be seeing anyone, but hey I am all for breaking the rules and screwing MF.
Don't get me wrong, i hope her and Jeff work out, i just think Chantal likes the meaning of being in love versus truly knowing what the love of her life truly means. JMO :giggle:

As for Emily dating a billion guys, that is AMAZING....in just 25yrs of living??? Now I will be the first to admit, MATH was never my fav subject in school but the math just doesn't seem to add up in this scenario. :study: :giggle:

Have any of these allegations been confirmed, or is it all just speculation? I recall some not so nice things speculated about Emily as well regarding her love life. I prefer to give both women the benefit of the doubt until some factual evidence is presented.

Way back in the day, there was a song "Love the One You're With." I always thought that would be a nifty capabilty to have. Perhaps that is one Chantal possesses? If so, good for her...at least she will be happy.
Also there are much, much worse things than being in love with love.

Exactly never any facts or confirmation about the reason for Chantal's marriage not working out. They were together 10 years, so I don't question her faithfulness. Just like the rumor of Emily breaking up an engagement cause she got pregnant. Frankly, I don't believe either of those stories about Chantal or Emily. It's funny how some tabloids are to be believed and some are trash, depending on who's point of view it is that reads them. I prefer to not get in a mud slinging contest on here when nothing are confirmed facts about either woman.

I think Chantal is to quiet. She pretty much hides and there are only a few pics and those are very far inbetween. Are they having issues possibly?
She seems to move on so I suspose it is no surprise.

Well according to her own words in the above posted blog article, she wanted to return to a normal life which included closing her Twitter account and spending time traveling and with family & friends. This is the first "interview" I've seen her do since Regis & Kelly right after the show.

And is there a special sign-up sheet for the "tit-for-tat"? I'll take Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00pm to 4:00pm EST...

Good Lord. No they are not having issues, she just wrote a blog that he is the love of her life and they are in love. I'm sure she has plenty of pictures of both of them. She closed twitter and doesn't want facebook, so how would the public see the pictures? She's not tabloid fodder with Jeff either. That's a good sign to me. CHANTAL AND JEFF ARE NOT IN THE TABLOIDS, SO NO RUMORS OF ANYTHING BAD GOING ON, or it would be out there, like it is with the dysfunctional couple, Brad and Emily.
