If Ben ends up being the f1, I think Ashley saying "I love Ben" in the beginning of the show was it. There's always stuff to point to JP but I'm not so sure about the wedding photos. That went badly and wouldn't bode well if it was the clue.

They really threw the jealousy edit at JP tonight and it was pretty bad. It was way beyond what I expected if he's the f1. Maybe that's supposed to be the doubt but Ashley asking his questions about whether it was anger or asking if he directed it at anyone was a bit eye opening. That's not what would come to mind usually when you're talking to someone you're supposed to be falling for.

Ames was fun to watch as usual. Can't wait to see his family. Ben is really falling for Ashley and you can really tell when he's talking to his mom and after in the PI where he wipes away tears. I'm hoping he's fine no matter what ended up happening. He's such a sweet guy. :Nod:

I didn't think it was bad at all. He's totally right that they share something that is at a different level than she has with the other guys. He did exactly what I thought he would do. He left the room quietly (even though the other guys thought it was funny ... I'll bet they won't now that they see what was going on between them during taping). I'm glad he calmly explained to her everything he was feeling and why he was feeling it. I think he did a great job and she totally understood and appreciated it.

I was disappointed in Ben's date. I wanted to see more of a spark. I think he is the sweetest guy and the way he looks at her was just adorable. He is such a cute and gentle guy. I like how honest he was with her about his feelings. BUT, she wasn't smiling when he spoke to her and her eyes weren't sparkling the way they were when JP was telling her how AWFUL his week was. LOL! Ahhh.

I think JP's vblog totally set-up what we would see in how he was feeling in tonight's episode.

First he defended Ashley's insecurities and then admitted that he had insecurities as well. JP asked us to remember the tremendous pressure they are all going through when we are judging what we are seeing. He also said unless you have been through it, you have no idea what it's like.

I'm going to give both JP and Ashley the benefit of the doubt because I can't imagine what it is like to walk in their shoes.

I'm not so sure that Ben's not a viable f1. His edit has been building and this date showed that he has the feelings of love growing and Ashley talked about it as well. What wasn't shown but people should realize is that they spent a ton of time together which is huge in this show. There's a very good chance that Ashley's feelings about Ben will grow and possibly catch up and even pass JP in her heart. JP's jealousy may come back to haunt him. We won't know for sure about it all until the end.

I'm already over the Brad & Emily story. Well actually I was never into it.

I know this was written hours ago, but I came across it and had to chuckle at the bolded.

Ryan Sutter worried quite a bit about F2 Charlie (and Trista actually mentioned it, without revealing his name, on Men Tell All before finale time)... and I mentioned something about both Charlie and Ben in a post over in Bachelorette 7 General Discussion. They made sure Ben's comment about not sharing rooms was left in the edit, even if Jordan was too quick to bolt out before hearing it. More proof that Jordan is F1, as far as I'm concerned.

JBF, do you remember if Frank showed any jealousy at all in Ali's season? I thought he was the jealous one of that season, but I can't remember now.

This is how JP came across to me. Not a guy so in love, but really like a 15 year old who cannot handle what he doesn't like. No charm, grace or consideration of what Ash might be going through to have these dates. He had to have the regular tux, not to foreshadow any RC wedding, but beause his ego/ lack of humor could not handle wearing one of the other outfits. Ash may indeed pick him but whoa! is all I can say.

How telling is it that she had to ask him if he was taking it out on anyone? This could be a foreshadowing of their future. Today all is rosy and she is his cupcake. What happens when that changes and he is impatient, easily frustrated etc. Sounds to me like he could be a bit of a PITA

I was rewatching the group date portion when Ashley was telling the guys what they were doing and I caught her staring at JP. SO CUTE!
