If Nick is the F2 or F1, he is not perceived as a villain to Andi.  If fact, she likes strategy.  Josh and Nick have their own strategies.  In fact all the guys have a strategy.  They just don't vocalize it like Nick does.  If anything, the guys are jealous of Nick because Nick is a go-getter.  They see that Nick is a better strategizer than them.  They are all competing for Andi.  Also, Nick has that snark sense of humor.  So, I don't see the "villain" edit.  I just see a bunch of jealous guys who interpret Nick as a villain.  No wonder Nick is friends with Brian and Chris now?  I think Andi was thinking about choosing Nick.  Andi realized that, in the past, she didn't have good luck with athletic types. So, she may have felt drawn to Nick.  But, as the plane video indicates, She went back to what she's used to.  She changed her mind."  

I think this is your POV but it's clear that as of now Nick is percieved as the viliain and is not liked by the general public sadly.

I don't think she changed her mind at all .. And that Nick may have wishful thinking in his comments in the video as well

IA Luvlady, Nick's edit is out of control. If he's f1, she and Nick have seriously pissed off tptb in some egregious way for this to be the final guy edit. With that said, since I think f1 is Josh, and if she feels the need to get snippy with Nick, Andi would do well to remember that it's Nick's edit that's making her man look perfect right now. Twitter/sm is full of Josh is The One and Nick is Horrible.

I also don't think she changed her mind and it was Josh from the moment Josh arrived. I do think she was majorly hedging her bet because she was so overwhelmed with him, but once he started giving her reassurance and made a promise to never break her heart, it really became Andi vs her insecurities, not Josh vs Nick.

One more thing regarding the shallow connection we're seeing with Josh that was mentioned up thread. I think it's the opposite. She says Nick sees all of her but he's never seen her eye rolling and insecurities and meltdowns and all the drama she can create. Josh, otoh, has her number down and can pretty much answer her issues with minimal exposition needed from her. So far what I've seen is Nick is falling in love with some version of Andi, Josh is falling in love with the real girl, warts and all. Obvs jmo and ymmv

I guess I don't understand.  So, Nick cannot be the F1 because the general public doesn't like Nick and, that historically, TPTB don't allow a villain edit for the Bachelorette F1, so as to please the viewers?  Do you think that TPTB could break with history to fool the general public, this time?  Can TPTB tell Andi who to choose?  Can they control who she falls in love with?  The bottom line is who Andi will stay with the longest, after the show.  

Personally, I think Nick is professionally a go-getter as a sales executive.  He also says he comes from a large family, "If you don't ask for it, you don't get it."  Nick has the edge, strategically.  Jealousy is rampant on these shows.  That's how TPTB like it, editing for the drama and the villain perception, which lasts for the duration for the show.  Then, these guys are buddies afterwards.

BTW, I am a Josh fan. And, I think Andi went with her heart, not her brain and what she thought was in her best interests. I am just playing the devil's advocate, here. Have to catch up on the posts above.

If Andi had picked Nick they would have given him a better edit. To me it's that simple. And then there's the video. IMO of course.

I agree Nick's edit is terrible. However, we still have a few episodes to go. TPTB could start soften his edit and redeem him tomorrow. I will wait and see.

Yes particularly since the other guys are away now and everything is solo from this point forward.

Whatever I say about Nick is his edited persona so I don't want folk to jump on my comments. Nick has been shown to be all the negative things mentioned on this board from episode 2 onwards when he got his first 1on1 date. Even then the guys had their flag up and the edit showed it by showing conversations about Nick. That is never a good thing in the world of TB.
Keeping that in mind - hoping for a complete turn in edit may be wishful thinking. But we can home.

FWIW, there have been several "villians"(I dislike that descriptive term) who have been F1. Vienna and Courtney both brought home the prize.

I agree. The most vocal guy, Brian, has left. On Monday we will see the HTDs which will hopefully soften Nick's image. Then, only 3 remain and they are separated from each other, except at the RC. Then, just 2, separated until the RC. Can't see much chance of negativity about Nick.
