It is also funny to me comparing Jillian and Reid to Nick and Andi because I read Jillian's blog today, and she did not have very nice things to say about Nick at all.

I thought she seemed a little negative and "put off" by him when she was talking to him.  imo  

I think she was upset about how he acted on the group date and what the guys had said about him, which who can blame her. So I think she was challenging/calling him out, that she knew he didn't have "fun" or that everything wasn't "OK" with the guys. I loved that she called BS. And I loved their conversation that followed and the fact that he came clean and owned up to what he did.

I think by the end she looked pretty pleased with herself, especially when he told her what happened with Cody, because she knew he had told her the truth (downplaying or not, which I think is up for debate), you can just see her smiling as soon as he starts to come clean, she was challenging him, and she should IMO.

Agree w the bolded.  I wonder if Andi needs some time to process and can't immediately let things go when she's disappointed or upset.  I do think she felt Nick's apology was genuine, but wasn't ok w it enough to completely let it go.  Or perhaps I'm projecting b/c it's a personality trait of mine (which I'm not to crazy about)..HaHa!  I think it's the same w Josh, she wants to believe that he's different, but her mind keeps going...

True.  He shouldn't and won't change who he is.  He changed his own mind because she  looked him in the eye  saying If I was your wife would you tell me? That let him know that however fake the show is, she needed to know that her future husband would talk about things that upset him or just talk about things that had happened.  It wasn't really about the specific events, it was about what kind of communicator he is.  She didn't know if he would deny or refuse to talk about it, or lie, or get angry and blame Cody, or whatever.  Now she does know exactly how he communicates after a conflict.  Mission accomplished.

Its great this happened because although Monday's group date isn't about exactly the same thing, we will get to see what happens when each guy is questioned during the lie detector test and how they respond to her afterward.  As silly as it is, who will just do it, who will pout, who will be angry, who will refuse, who will get defensive... Or maybe they will just all play along to get it over with, tell the truth, and then enjoy the night.  So many possibilities all of which reveal character.

Agree with bolded too - I think its interesting that the story line of both front runners is that she can't quite trust them obviously i like nick and am sick of his negative edit but ill be interested to see how the play this next week.

Completely agree. Nick doesn't seem like the type that would change for someone, based on the very little I know about him haha.

I didn't really feel she was scolding him, but everyone sees things differently. And yeah it was a difficult and uncomfortable conversation, I think thats why I loved it, because it seemed more real, and something that would happen in real life between a couple.

My hubby is a lot like Nick in those silly situations and I have said to him a million times over "I wish I could shake you and you would just have fun with me". I know I can't change him but I still challenge him to grow as a person which means challenging him to extend himself beyond his comfort zone, if that makes any sense.

Why he is somewhat reserved:
I'm wondering if a part of that is his history.  He said on the first night that for a time he took on a father role with some of his younger siblings.  Looking at the beautiful pic of his mom and dad both have on their Facebook page of them as a couple, they look very dedicated to each other and little things imply they are equally dedicated to their children.

I hope not, but suspect, that there may have been a family tragedy that was quite significant and led to Nick taking on a parent helper role.  I think he hasn't told her because he wanted time for her to get to know him first and not become a pity rose.  I really hope I'm wrong.  I have an idea but I don't want to speculate on something that could be heartbreaking. This could be why Nick gets another long stretch of time in Belgium. Dylan's story was sad enough.

I really like Jillian, but Reid and Jillian together was what made the season for me. It was magic. They were both so quick witted it was so entertaining to watch them. Nick does remind me of Reid a little bit, but Im not into Andi the way I was into Jillian. Jillian was a sweetheart all the way through.

Can someone post the side be side pic of nic's bf wedding pic and CH's pic of andi holding a bridal magazine?

What I find interesting is andi's word to describe nic as 'sensitive'. How does she know this? The edit being shown is the opposite as it is casting doubt on whether nic is fooling her but it definitely does not show 'sensitive'. Maybe we will see it next week on their date? The pics sure show a confident guy who can make fun of himself...I still don't get that word!

My romantic mind is thinking final rose ceremony and how he did not prepare anything not knowing if she chose him or not but when she did   he spoke from his heart.
