Just want to throw in a few words on this thread.

I really liked Nick from the beginning, he was special but after tonight episode I kind of lost respect for him just because he obviously was making fun of Cody for being thankful and blessed. Not cool at all. If I were Andi and both Cody and Chris, who are the nicest guys, "complained" about Nick's attitude I would send him home. I really hope he changes til next week because that was not fun to watch.

It looks like she's giving Nick a chance to redeem himself next week. I guess they'll get back on track although as per CH the guys still might have issues with him I guess due to jealousy. It's obvious she's really intrigued by him.

The first person Chris tweeted, when he got back on twitter, was Nick. They tweet back and forth and Chris has made plans to visit Nick (it's also on twitter).

It's a tv show and drama drama sells.

Lol Nick! I adore you, but please don't write poem. Like ever. Andi probably dying inside trying not to laugh. Haha.

And OK yes, Nick made fun of Cody, but he apologized. Cody should stop being so 7th grade about it. It's not like they don't give each other hard times.

All my males friends rib each other and me all the time - its all in good fun. I don't think Nick meant to be hurtful but when Cody said it hurt him he quickly apologised. Have you ever meant to be funny and it comes out wrong? I sure have.

I don't think JP is or was arrogant at all on his his show. Nick is very arrogant and JP was simply stating that.

This. The scene actually ended up being so awkward and made the whole thing even more ridiculous. Cody starts getting all heated and Nick remains fairly calm and when Nick says, "Cody didn't you and I rag on each other a bunch of times and say things to each other", Cody pretty much says yes. At which point Nick says okay but then admits that he didn't realize Cody was so bothered by what he said and he apologized. At which point Cody's ire deflates and the whole thing seems even more ridiculous but suddenly all this drama is basically over nothing.

eta: Just saw JP's tweet - I knew there was a reason he's always been one of my favorites. JP and I are on the same page here. I said it last night but I really feel like the Nick drama had some bit of producer manipulation behind it. Like maybe there wasn't enough drama and so they started whispering in the other guys' ears.

I have also never been a fan of the "gang-up" on this show towards one contestant. I always often find myself siding with the one being ganged up on because I hate group-think mentality. On top of that, in BOTH instances, the editing showed the guys attacking Nick first. Last week was all Cody and Tasos once they realized they weren't getting any 1 on 1 time with Andi before the rose ceremony and last night, Cody and company were not the least bit subtle when they started the conversation, with the clear intent of leading to basically telling Nick they think he's arrogant because "how dare he - he thinks he's the frontrunner." I'm sorry, I just found the whole thing incredibly juvenile and contrived.

As for group mime stuff, while yes Nick should have just gone with the whole cheesy thing and have fun with it, I think Nick just ultimately thought the whole thing was stupid and didn't think it had anything to do with falling in love with Andi which these ridiculous things rarely do. Going by Nick's own words from the earliest episodes, he already had some skepticism about the whole show process and the ability to really find love in a situation like this. And I think with the whole miming thing he just kind of felt like "this is stupid - "how the hell is hanging around outside, looking ridiculous with a bunch of guys, not saying a word to the woman we're here for, going to help us fall in love with and build a relationship with her?" Yes, I admit it wasn't the most pleasant and fun attitude to have but I might have felt the same which to be fair is why I would never go on a show like this.

Is he not getting why Nick is arrogant or that he doesn't see it in Nick. That's the question for me.

Right. Because JP got the similar edit. He has feelings for Andi, she went on a date with Josh this week (which I am sure he knows is his main competition) and he was uncomfortable. The guys are jealous. He probably shouldn't have agreed that he thought he was a frontrunner, but he was just being honest. Have you read her blog? She doesn't like being a "prize." Ok.
