Playing catch-up on the DVR. I had to fast-forward through most of Ryan's interview, and I'm 100% sure I could not watch him as The Bachelor. He's attractive and seems like a good guy, but he's painfully over-earnest. Earnestness can be a good thing; see, e.g., JP. But there's a sincerity to JP's earnestness, whereas Ryan's just seems so fake. Also, there's no edge to Ryan. For all of JP's sweet sincerity and good-guy charm, he also has that NY swagger, and can turn on the sex appeal when appropriate. Ryan has none of that, which would make it painful to watch him trying to woo 25 women. So, no, to Ryan.

In other news, Ames is adorable.

JP can't be without her, can't picture a life without her. Can't wait to be engaged and be with her.

OMG...they didn't hide it. I"m in total shock. JP voice over about Ashley, being his wife and a mother (to his kids). I wish I could have a transcript or hear what he said again. It brought tears to my eyes.
