One person who definitely does want the friends to get together is Lopez's BFF Remini. Another source tells Us, "Leah is trying to play matchmaker with Maks and Jennifer," adding, "She's really egging it on and encouraging it."
However, the first source insists, that the pair are strictly platonic.

 
Good! She needs to try her hand at being single for awhile!

I had just read this article and was coming over here to post it but glad to see you already posted it. I wonder if it was Remini that got this rumor started herself. She had to know about Meryl and Maks because she interviewed them with Tony Dovolani during DWTS after their victory. I think Remini needs to mind her own business instead of stirring up rumors. Even ABC World News reported on this rumor very early this morning with the female anchor adding she hoped it worked for JLO because she deserves to be happy. I guess she doesn't think Meryl deserves to be happy also and it's funny when these rumors are getting reporting Meryl's name is never mentioned.

In my opinion it is just the rag mags trying to create a story capitalizing on Maks popularity right now. He danced with JLo in November but at that time she was with Casper. As aquantances he could do some coreography for her or appear in a video but until then nada in my opinion between them romantically.

He has shown on TV no less how over the moon for Meryl he has been since meeting and falling in love with her during DWTS. He has no time for JLo and I seriously doubt she would have been happy with him over the way he has been behaving with Meryl. When he is not with Meryl for goodness sakes he re-watches their dances together and when they are together"all is right in the world". Even in India there was the montage of him watching with the hosts his dances with Meryl. He is getting constant reminders how good the two of them are together. If anything now that Charlie is engaged and he and Meryl will not be competing this year she will be concentrating on Maks. Which I firmly believe will happen after their Japan ice dancing tour.

I think so too on this whole, adorable post!! And they're both back in the next 10 days so I hope they'll be able to see each other again soon. He's so in love with her right after the show ended and even in his interviews last week, I can't imagine he's already moved on after not seeing her for a mere 10 days.

Thanks iamreal2u for the compilation. That's where I see the difference. They are too good together. I have been a fan of dwts for years. He just was never like this with anyone else, noone! One thing I still find fascinating is that the dances and songs are chosen for them, and how max chose to choreograph those and interpret them for Meryl.....breathe deep

IA and I love the song as well.  I think I have seen every fan video out there but new ones keep showing up - this one I posted above was just published on June 1st and some more have been published since then and most of them are really good.  I liked this one so well because it had their voices included in parts of the video.  Here is another one you may like:

I just noticed that there are two different videos titled A Thousand Years.  One was published on May 11th and the newest one was published on June 6th.  Have you seen both of them?
