Episode 8 - 7/18 Hometown dates - Discussion - Spoilers

I love Shawntal, but Brad on the embalming table was pretty creepy.

I think Ames will have the bad HTD & I'm wondering if his mom may look down her nose a little bit at Ashley.

I hope roller skating is JP too, and the camera has shown them laughing together & having fun but it's always from a distance and we never see or hear it up close. Wonder if she'll meet his parents, I hope so.

I also wonder the same thing and think the bad HTD will be Ames as well. But then again the bad HTD could possibly be Dino's family since he has shown and expressed that he isn't really interested in Ashley and the family will pick up on that I'm sure.

Dino's family will most prob bring out the religious differences...Greek Orthodox Momma's do not want their sons marrying outside their religion...could be a difficult convo. Next time i run into iorgio's I am asking for Dino. Will bring pics.

What are JP and Ben's families like?

Lanny's mom was scary. I think if not for that, Lanny would have been Meredith's true f2 guy. He's the only other guy that she had chemistry with.

I guess they're going to have to finally give us previews for the HTD's on Mon. I can't wait.

Lanny's mom was something else. She and Meredith were SO not on the same page, but I suspect she would not have liked any woman for her little boy. And the only type that would have been marginally acceptable would have to be totally subservient to her. I thought she seemed like a nightmare, and I rarely remember the families. She stood out (in a very bad way). I wonder if Lanny's gotten any girlfriends since then?

I think he's married or at least engaged but that was a long time ago that I heard it.
