We are holding our breaths for the Jays!

I love a no goal call, and another no go call when it was contested, followed by another goal by the winning team!

We totally would have lost our game last night if it wasn't for that slide into 2nd base, Chase Utley did to break up the double play. Getting lots of talk at how dirty it was for the injury to Mets 2nd basemen, and we shouldn't have won after that.

Uh yeah, us Mets fans are not happy. That was not so nice.

It's looking good for a win tonight for the Jays.

The guy who slid got a 2 game suspension. I didn't watch the game but it was clear he went out of his way to slide into Tejeda. I didn't realize it broke his leg so I guess I can see why he's out for 2 games.

When Tejada caught the ball, he had his back towards Utley so did a spin towards first base & that's how he got hit and fell on his back/leg. It wasn't fun to watch but I guess a suspension will do.

It's always bad when someone gets hurt. 
It definitely goes beyond the simple physical action and healing. It hurts the team emotionally and could effect their play offs.

I don't know if his suspension will hold, umngirl. I especially doubt they'll give him 2 games in the playoffs but I wish they'd call these kinds of slides in the game.

I'm really hoping that Toronto will tie the series so we can see a game five there.

Not only was the slide beyond the pale, but it detrimentally effected another team's chances in the playoffs. Very bad. 
If you can't play fair, you should not play. Role models---no.
