Rob Blake's @LAKings No. 4 sweater goes to the rafters tonight at 9:45 ET. #4InTheRafters
Awwww this is so nice! Love this guy. He's another great local NHL player! Plus 2002 Olympic Gold for Team Canada!

There's a new reality show called 'Hockey Wives' airing March 18th. Only in CAN though. Hopefully I can find episodes online so I can see Nicole Brown & Jenny Scrivens (current and former Kings WAGs)

I'm not sure what I think about this. I know for sure, I don't like to see people who are well off, complain about anything.
Thanks Linds! I didn't hear anything about this. The link has individual pics.

T,O Sun
TV has given us Army Wives, Sister Wives, Real Housewives, Desperate Housewives and The Good Wife, to name but a few. But Hockey Wives?
Talk about a show that speaks directly to Canada. I guess "Wives of Tim Hortons Employees" is next.
Anyway, Corus Entertainment confirmed that the new reality series Hockey Wives will premiere March 18 on W. Some cast members had been announced previously, but now the full cast has been revealed. It includes:
* Actress Noureen DeWulf, who most recently has been a regular cast member on Charlie Sheen's Anger Management. She's the wife of Vancouver Canucks goalie Ryan Miller.
* Nicole Brown, the wife of Los Angeles Kings captain Dustin Brown.
* Model and new mom Martine Forget, who is engaged to Toronto Maple Leafs goalie Jonathan Bernier.
* Maripier Morin, the girlfriend of Montreal Canadiens winger Brandon Prust.
* Fashion designer Tiffany Parros, who is married to the recently retired George Parros.
* Brijet Whitney, who is married to the recently retired Ray Whitney.
* Social activist Kodette LaBarbera, the wife of Anaheim Ducks goalie Jason LaBarbera.
* Former intelligence specialist for the U.S. military Emilie Blum, the wife of Minnesota Wild defenceman Jonathon Blum.
* Athlete and communications expert Jenny Scrivens, the wife of Edmonton Oilers goalie Ben Scrivens.
* Arizona real estate maven Wendy Tippett, the wife of Arizona Coyotes head coach Dave Tippett.
The eight-part series will unfold over the course of an NHL season.
One might have thought a natural for this would be Elisha Cuthbert, a bona fide Hollywood TV star and wife of Toronto Maple Leafs captain Dion Phaneuf. But Cuthbert actually has a new sitcom coming out, titled One Big Happy, which coincidentally debuts March 17 on NBC, the day before Hockey Wives.

I've never seen this happen, ever. Toronto, vs Floirda. Goalie gets hurt, they bring in back up goalie. That goalie gets hurt. They don't have any more goalies.
This is nuts!!

So do they leave an open goal the rest of the game? How did it turn out?

The goalie coach dressed as the back up while they were trying to figure out what to do. The first goalie, that got hit in the head in the first period by a puck, came back, 9 minutes left in the 3rd. What a crazy game. Too bad they lost after all that.
Hockey players are tough guys!!

Wow. So was this Toronto or Florida?
You should be proud of me GA even though I was born and raised in FL and have always lived in the south I have always said no hey players were the most amazing athletes to do all they do on skates and playing with a small puck and awkward sticks it is amazing. Your post in the celeb thread made me realize that if we move to TN, we could take trips on the weekend to see the Nashville team. I went to a couple of Stsrs games when I was in TX and followed the Theashers before the strike season and the horrible traffic accident. Those two events kind of killed the Thrashers.

That accident was horrible.
It was the Panthers that had the goalie issues against one of the worst teams in the NHL. Sorry Leaf fans, I really am rooting for them.
I could probably fly to Nashville, buy tickets and stay for 3-4 days for cheaper than what it would cost me to go to Montreal to see a Habs game, that's if I can sweet talk a scalper, because it's impossible to get tickets.
Don't even get me going on the prices of hockey game tickets.

So if I move there road trip? We can make it when they play the Habs. Bean can give us restaurant recommendations and they have a great Children's science museum if you want to nerd out with me.
The Panthers have been sad since they joined the league. The TB team has had good moments, but Miami and hockey never matched to me. Then again Miami and baseball doesn't match to me either.
