My cousin's first and middle names are Jason Palmer . He went by Jason his whole life until some point in adulthood where he preferred to be called Palmer. How common a name is Jason and then he chooses Palmer? Nothing wrong with either, but I am sure if the baby grows up to not like his name, he can do the same. It all works out. I actually like Ford as a nickname and Rhys is very cool and the spelling is awesome.

At least they didn't name him something like "Dweezel" or "Moon Unit" a la Frank Zappa.. (No offense meant to Frank and his kids..)

A name is such a personal thing. My father-in-law went through life being a Joe and not a Joseph. He said he was always asked (especially when something where your formal/professional name is required) if his name was Joseph. Nope just plain Joe.
So what does my niece(his granddaughter) do--names her son Jake, laugh out loud

, not Jacob. They love it. It's their son. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks---except for Jake. I guess if it really bothers him, he could always change it.

Riley was born March 14th, 2013 & People Mag posted her first pictures 5 weeks later on April 13th, 2013.

Yes, Fordham University in New York City. We visited that school when my son was looking for Colleges to attend.

How do you pronounce Fordham the university? Is it Ford-ham (like two distinct words where it's ham as in HAM) or Fordhm where the emphasis is on the first syllable and the ham is swallowed and sounds more like a quick him or hm?

Just curious, I have no concern over the name either way. Sounds like he will go by Ford which is a strong solid name, I quite like it. Rhys is one of my favorite names.

I am looking forward to seeing the photos in US or People or wherever they end up. Smiley
