SLA44 (or whatever her correct username) made a complaint earlier today. So I dealt with the report when popped up. It was regarding a highly offensive/disrespectful post by Melika towards San. Deleting the post was pretty much a no brainer. She also made reference to people being so overly guilty or upset by the issue as no-lifers. Nice huh??
Upon further investigation it appears we have 2 members from this forum posting from that same IP addy.

That makes sense now why I saw a couple of post's by San, wanting to get something off her chest, but I didn't see what she was referring to.

It had something to do with being told the wrong info on Des's season.

I know what you mean by running out of time, sometimes I do things too quickly because I have to go laugh out loud

but want to get it done! Ohhh my team just scored again! Whoo hoo! It's hockey play off time! Smiley

nd4reality Could we do a separate thread for Reality Steve and his commentary ? Someone will have to post his stuff there for the rest of us though.

I will never have a separate thread on this forum for him. If anyone wants to keep track of what he spills they can do so in the Facts thread, No Discussion so there is a record of what he says, and we can go back and check when need be.

This decision is not only because I dislike him to no end, but IMO it will just be another thread to babysit because there'll be the ones who stick up for him, and those who don't bickering at each other. We already went through this at Fort.

I will respond to her when I see some responses here.

ETA I'm going to respond now because I need to get to bed. Why would we dedicate a thread to someone who calls us names, only to steal our info. grrrr!

Are we going to close threads once they reach a certain number of pages and begin a new one? San and Love usually let the pages hit 40 or so (10 posts per page) and then would number it, archive it, and begin a new one. It doesn't matter to me really, I only ask because Josh's thread is reaching 80 pages. Maybe they did it to keep things more organized... IDK.

I worked on this awhile ago and posted it in the About this site. Threads can now extend to 80 pages. I changed it to keep the number of threads reasonable. There were threads everywhere on the board. I've been amalgamating where I could and moving to the archived section.

I'm keeping an eye on that one. lipsis looks after Sean and Cat, we never have to worry about that section.

Can everyone have a look at the rules, and let me know if there's anything that should be changed or added. I'd like to post them in the Rules thread sometime today. I put No discussion in there just because I thought we could keep it clean and add anything to that topic later. As suggested, warning paragraphs etc.

I will work on the copyright in the next few days. I will have a separate topic for that.

Also, we have to figure out what we're going to do about locking threads. I really want to do that. Do we have any Mods on the West coast that can unlock them after the show is over?

Would it be a problem if they were kept closed until the next morning? I can't think of any reasons why it would be an issue if they were kept closed, but maybe I'm missing something. I don't remember how Fort handled that for West coast. I have no problem with that, if that's our only option.

I'm on the West coast GA. I can unlock the threads if I'm not on vacation. I don't take a computer with me.

That's great, thanks Bet. I don't take a laptop with me either if I'm on vacation. I will be away a week in June. I'm not sure if there are any other mods, but we can lock them up EST, you can unlock them. If we run into a situation where we can't unlock, we will leave them till the morning. I'm sure no one will run out of things to say. Smiley

I'm going to miss both epi 1 & 2 so can't help out. We're on our way early in the a.m. to Seattle for an Alaskan cruise. We have a few days at the end in Vancouver, B.C. visiting a SIL. I'm very excited. I'll probably check the board when in Alaska but will have very limited access.
