I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, it opens flood gates for all kinds of threads. On the other, it keeps the current thread on topic.
I don't see that much Kacie/Aaron discussion and I think there is going to be bleed over anyway.
Someone really complained? Wow is all I can say.

bamagirl doesn't care about Aaron and Kacie and doens't want the fan thread to be filled with their information and feels it's going off topic all the time with Kacie moving new job etc. I think most of the conversation today was them trying to figure out if J/A were in KC.

IA with both of you, where does the fangirling stop. This would lead the way for other's.

So very true!!! I wonder if they realize that's what they are doing. I should start posting in Josh's Fan thread, no Andi. Crop out any Andi pics.

I got a question about the portal from a member. Here's her question:

I love to read the Portal where there is a compilation of tweets from various sources. Lately however I find I "know" fewer and fewer of the participants. I love to keep current on Bach Nation folks but don't follow all of them on my own. Today the feed is full of tweets about a home improvement show I never heard of. Do we have quidelines/suggestions for what goes in there?

I seldom look at the portal but do remember when it was bach alum.

I just took them off not more than an hour or so ago. It's a show on the FYI network. I added FYInetowrk because of MAFS but when RowHouseShowDown is on they retweet every single tweet, very annoying. I've never heard of that show. Last week I left it but today it drove me nuts, so I took them off. You can let that person know, and also ask them if they want anyone added.

It's a twitter list for past contestants or famous people, and the other list is for celebrity news type tweets.

I watched an episode about RowHouse Showdown after Cortney tweeted about it. It's online. It's up my alley because I love DIY shows. I don't think I'd want to read their tweets though.

Ok I'm laughing now. I'm tired and stressed with a sick dog for three days and this is making me really laugh.

I explained why the twitter feed was full of home improvement tweets, and that you could tell that person why, and that I removed that twitter from the feed. I also said you can ask that person if they want any past contestants or anyone else added.

The Portal has two twitter feeds, one past bachelor alumni's and the other entertainment news.

Are you telling me you don't want to tell that person all that??
