That's the word I was looking for, and I was never one to believe in soul mates. During filming there was a deep discussion about Des relationship with Chris compared to the others. There was poster by the name of "matchmaker" who was able to put in words what most of us were feeling about Chris and Des relationship. She said something like, not exact "Chris a Des had what you call a "soul-mate friendship" it is a unique deep love relationship that last a lifetime.
