The guy next to me in the office has a girlfriend who travels all the time, and while not married (he has some weird thing about marriage and kids), he tells people they are as good as married. Not a romantic type of guy but with him that says it all: he's in it for good. Lots of careers require extension travel from their twenty somethings. There was a time when I worked a job that the travel was so extensive, long term and (worst of all) unpredictable, I felt I had to warn about it in interviews. Seriously, NOTHING can be read into either one of them traveling in connection with their careers. They are both at an age when you do whatever it takes to build a career, if you've ever wanted one. Chris knows he is with a woman who has dreams and wants to make something take off; how could he not? And by all indications they aren't financially well off enough to let one in the pair sit back and take a free ride. Anyway, whether or not their lives are how any of us would choose to live ours, their lives and schedules at this point don't seem at all unusual to me.
