Yes, I believe he has and I really want to find out more about him.  But it seems to me that Catherine was pretty hidden in the background during Sean's season also.  AshLee and Tierra were front and center during that season if I remember correctly.  I thought I saw more spark between Sean and Catherine when she got out of the limo than I did with Sean and Tierra who got the rose right then and there.  I was going "Huh?"  So I will really be paying attention to the eye contact and body language at the initial meet right out of the limo.

AshLee and Tierra also got lots of airtime because they caused drama and/or had a great storyline to be exploited (AshLee's abandonment issues). Catherine was very laid-back and started off as his friend for the first few episodes so they only thing they showed was a little flirting. Once they had their first kiss, things became more obvious from there.

Some leads are very easy to read in terms of body language, well others hide it well. With that said, by the HTD or FD at the latest, most leads make it very well-known, i.e., Sean.

To add to that, we don't know the circumstances of his departure, only that it wasn't pleasant. If the unpleasantness has anything to do with her, it would worsen the situation for her. For example if they argued, and that was the last conversation she had with him.

By the time it airs, everyone will know, the remaining contestants, and Andi herself. It was in the media today, so even the general viewers who aren't normally spoiled will know.

They will have had some time to digest it all, and I would think the general viewer's, not to mention his family might "expect" some sort of tribute explanation or something during the premiere. Thoughts?

I can understand not telling Andi or any of the F4 about the accident yet. It would be hard to have the joy and happiness needed for the last couple of weeks right after hearing about this. I don't know that I find it that mean.

I have a slightly different take on this, in that I don’t think they have much choice but to tell Andi and the F3.
The situation has both ethical and practical dimensions.
Ethically, I don’t think the producers have the right do decide whether Andi knows about Eric’s passing away or not.  They do not know whether or not she would like to reach out to his family or whether she would like to attend his funeral.  I don’t think they have the right to make those decisions for her, to deny her those choices or to inject their own judgments as to how connected she was to him.
Practically, I don’t think they can withhold the news.  All Andi's friends, colleagues and acquaintances will be aware of the situation. Nowadays the flow of news is extremely rapid and during HTDs the producers have less control over information. Marcus' family may have known about the Eric's accident yesterday, for example.  Also, sometime within the next couple of weeks Andi's family will visit her.  I'm not sure they will want her to be in the dark.  Then there is the production crew.  Could they all pull this off, all keep her in a bubble and all act as if nothing had happened.  By all accounts Andi is a smart and astute young woman. The whole show could implode if she found out their was a conspiracy of silence.
And what about post-production.  Andi is going to have to do the media rounds.

This is a horrible situation, but I think the producers have to deal with it head on, and also do what's morally right, even if that makes production more difficult. Of course these are just my very very very humble opinions and I could well be wrong.

All very good posts everyone. I'm digesting it all. It's hard to figure out what exactly IS the best way of handling all this.

MrWrite, those are some very good points, that I hadn't thought of. Now the table has turned, what if I was Andi,? I most certainly would want to know. Gosh

I think if they tell Andi, yeah she will probably upset, but she signed up for the show to find her husband and the show must go on. She is a strong women and I think if they tell her and it really upsets her, she has the F3 men to lean on and they can comfort each other. But ultimately she will be ok. If the producers don't tell her until after filming then I think that's a very insensitive thing to do, but at the same time the producers are all insensitive.
By the way I am hoping by tomorrow that we know who is F3

Yes Mr. White did bring up some very good points and if I were Andi I would want to know.  I don't know the details of Eric leaving the show but it sounds like there could be some unpleasant feelings involved.  It is just such a tragic thing anyway you look at it.  I feel very sorry for Eric's family and friends - it still seems unbelievable to me.

The shots of her date yesterday with Marcus at the table makes me wonder if they did not know about the accident then and that's what they were discussing.  

Mr. Write you have a very good points. She may have already known of the accident on Marcus's HTD. I am not sure.

As far as Andi attending the funeral, I remember TPTB telling Meredith if she wanted to go to her grandmother's funeral she couldn't come back and her family convincing her it was okay to stay on the show. I think that was what made me so mad when Ed first got to leave and come back. Now it is common, but once upon a time, TPTB had no problem doing stuff like this.

ITA with Mr Write. First from a practical standpoint, I think it will be next to impossible to keep her or the guys from overhearing something or seeing a magazine in an airport or whatever. Additionally, I would like to think the crew has been saddened by this to the extent that Andi as an astute person is gonna pick up cues that something is amiss. And most importantly, she deserves to know about this as Mr. Write said, she may want to reach out to his family. If I were she and not told, I would be so very upset. This is real life despite the reality nature of the show. Andi and the guys may well learn some life lessons about each other and how they deal with tragedy which are important in choosing a mate.
