If you hover over the picture of the two of them in the fancy restaurant (I think that's how he referred to it when someone asked where that was taken- paneled shelves with crystal vase in background)- he has on the gray jacket with navy scarf and she has on the white jacket with beige scarf- the date on that picture says November 8- so six months prior would be May 8.

I think it's possible Chris used the phrase "you figure out the math" because some people think the day the engagement was shown on t.v. was the same day it actually happened. The same thing happened a few weeks ago when SeanCat acknowledged their one year anniversary. Some questioned it and asked how that could be since they got engaged in March (when we saw it). I really think it's as simple as that.

As helenarose posted, that picture of them posted November 8th makes perfect sense for being them celebrating their anniversary.
