There would not have been time (20 days) for production to halt since she had do press like right after. Maybe they were both busy on their actual anniversary so they celebrated early? Just be thankful that they are still happily together! :)

For the third time.. this is what Chris said.. On the 22nd, Chris sent an email to his subscribers saying... "The other night I took her out on our six month anniversary to this Italian restaurant in town that had some of the best appetizers around. Six months! You can figure out that math :)"

The original time line put the proposal on the 5th or 6th. How on the the 22nd is the "other day" the 5th or 6th? If it was, why do we need to "figure out the math" He was telling us something that you folks are in denial about. Something big happened that has never happened before. There was a long pause button hit.  The LCD was shot AFTER THE MTP.

While he sent the post out on the 22nd, he clearly writes "the other night"...that does not give a clear date as to when the other night was. People say phrases like that all the time and they are not exact or what the speaker necessarily meant.  I often write things and then come back a few days later to revise stuff. Who knows when he originally wrote it before sending it out. Based on some of his previous sloppy writing/editing, I see no reason to jump to the conclusion that everyone sat around for 20 days waiting for Des to have that happy ending. Sorry, we will just have to agree to disagree.

If the LCD was before the MTP, why was Chris the greatest man and she wanted him down on one knee" only to tell Nate the next day that she is still taking it day by day? If Brooks was in Utah on the 27th, how was Chris at the MTP on the 29th? All these things now make sense with Chris' latest statement.

He didn't write the email 2 weeks before and just get around to sending it because there were current items in it.  He mentions a jazz bar that they went to "last weekend" which is on Des IG as the 16th. He also mentions next Friday as Black Friday.

Linds.. They were celebrating their 6 month, not 7 month, so not an early celebration. I'm happy they are still together, but this is a sleuthing question on what went down in production. I would have put it in the discussion thread, but the email was posted here, so I responded here.

Who knows why he wrote that...it is still all speculation. And just because things were shown the way they were does not mean it happened that way. How many time have they used frankenbites and messed up the order of things to fit their story? It happens all the time. As for having current items in the his blog...again editing. You can start writing stuff, edit, come back, edit some more, etc. before finally posting.

It just doesn't make sense financially to wait around...not to mention she had to promote the show...not to mention that MF just doesn't care.

As I said...to me it is still speculation and not hard proof. Doesn't mean you may not find it, just that as of now, it isn't.

I see no reason why this can't be speculated about. None of us know what really happened. I don't have a problem either way. It's clear they're happy now so however it went down seemed to work. :Nod:

Can we agree that the LCD happened after the MTP? There has always been pretty good proof of that. MF had no ending. He had 2 goals. Get Reality Steve, get ratings. He did both. Nothing is off the table in how he managed to do that. Let's look for more proof. I'll go back and find when the interviews promoting the show started.

Yes, regardless of the order of the dates, we all pretty much settled on 8-9 days because CH was allegedly spotted at the airport on the 7th. What would be the purpose of misrepresenting that in an email to a small group of subscribers 6 months later? In one paragraph they went to a jazz bar last week (16th) and then celebrated their anniversary the other day, so it is shorter than a week and to punctuate that point, Chris tells this group to do the math. It's perplexing because I just don't think he would tell us to do the math and be that far off from the date. You don't send an email out to your fans and make that big of an error IMO.

I do find this very interesting. I put NOTHING past MF and company. He conspired to beat RS at the spoiler game, so to me it is not so far-fetched to believe the FRC was actually later. So many things seemed off about the Brooks as F1 spoiler to me, especially Des seeming so "down" in interviews and not portraying the "happy and in love" Bachelorette when she first did press. I don't remember when she started to seem happier, but at first she was not.
While I do see Des and Chris as happy now, who knows what transpired to get them to this place.
