Well Well Well!



We apologize this did not get to you sooner, but nonetheless we did not forget! Des and I have been busy at work getting ready for the holidays, working on dresses (Des not me ;) ) and living our normal lives of helicopter rides and yachts...just kidding on the ladder haha.



But really. Everything is great here on the Western front. Des and I enjoyed a great last weekend and week full of adventures that consisted of a blues/jazz bar with live music, a hole-in-the-wall bar with more live music, a movie night/dinner at home and a lovely OYSTER Bar!!! Let's just say we are getting used to Seattle living and being around each other. It is amazing to think that we met almost nine months ago now! The other night I took her out on our six month anniversary to this Italian restaurant in town that had some of the best appetizers around. Six months! You can figure out that math



We are really looking forward to the weeks ahead with family and friends coming into town. I won't tell you where we are going just yet, but I am sure I, or Des, will be posting plenty of pics on Instagram. I don't know if you know this, but I have always loved to 'gram and will probably always 'gram. She likes it too! Meant to be.

Chris and Des

Besides the email, wanted to add the details about the ABC special. Des and Chris will be featured along with Molly and Jason. We already knew this but now have the date. I can't wait to see them!

Finally, ABC’s third special, The Bachelor: Bachelor Love Stories will air Sunday, Jan. 19 at 8 p.m. and catch you up on all the love stories you’ve watched through the years. From Desiree and Chris to Jason and Molly, we’ll find out how the relationships are holding up. And, of course, we’ll catch up with the show’s biggest success story, Trista and Ryan, as they celebrate their 10th anniversary with a vow renewal ceremony (and if we know Ryan, a poem).

Last but certainly not least, don’t miss The Bachelor: Sean and Catherine’s Wedding on Sunday, Jan. 26 at 8 p.m. And just like that, all of your Juan-uary Sundays are booked. You’re welcome.

I love Chris! But if he aspires to be taken seriously as a poet he might want to learn basic grammar like how to use the words "me" and "I". That email was horrendous and I am afraid it sets a bad example for his readers. :Smiley:

Or forget about sending emails to fans and continue to post a few picture(s) here and there to keep us in the loop.  The only thing I would like to have known is what their plans are for the holidays. Not who is coming or going!

Personally, I think the poetry should be kept in a scrapbook to share with the kids and grandkids from now on.

Love him too, but he needs to keep their lives private to an extent, as much as he and Des said they would.  I mean, why give Mary "The Stir" more nasty stuff to write? She has already said they are living their relationship in social media.  These emails could stir up emotions in fans, and naysayers alike.

I got this on the 22nd. The other night? How long ago is that? A few days at most? We can figure out the math?! HOLY SMOKES! We all figured the proposal was on the 5th or 6th, CH spotted at the airport on the 7th. Let's think back to what Ali said.. I will go find it, but Ali said maybe Des took a couple of weeks off before the proposal!

ETA: Here it is: "I know last night's episode makes us think Desiree goes home alone after all this, but I don't believe it. I still think she ends up with Chris, but I just don't know how at this point. How do you tell a man you love him one week and then get engaged to another the next week? I don't think Desiree's heart could do that. Something has to happen... something we haven't seen on the show before. I'm honestly wondering if Brooks comes back or if Desiree goes home next week to take a few weeks to herself before the "final rose ceremony." I feel like one of those two things has to happen for her to end up with anyone. I guess we will see next week."

Good sleuthing! That rules out the first few days of the month... right? And assuming his hint that we should be able to figure it out based on that info, it's not as if they celebrated it late I'm assuming.

Maybe Des and Chris spent those two weeks together getting to know each other even better.

This is VERY interesting! Now we have to wonder how this really went down. Do you think they would have left them alone for a few days(weeK) to sort it out?
It would have been quite a bit more expense but it would keep the show going--otherwise it would have been a lost season. They would have had to explain the situation to Chris, so the FRC would not have been a surprise to him in any way. Maybe that why he looked so taken aback when he was getting ready to propose and Des stopped him.
I suppose we will never know, unless they tell us after they are no longer under contract.

Talk about spicing up this thread! Hmm - does it really matter now that they seem so happy and committed to one another? I always wondered about her comment that she had always loved but never felt so loved in return. Did that lightbulb moment come from conversation with Chris before the FRC? Did he help her sort through those feelings?

It probably doesn't matter: if they are happy now "the process" worked. But, it is interesting to see how they were able to work through the situation they were in. It would possibly quiet the doubters who say she could not have made the switch in a couple of days. Maybe she didn't. She may have cried for a few days, spent time with Chris for a few days and then realized that HE was what she was looking for. Not just lust but a good loving relationship with respect and acceptance of faults and positives of the person.

Well she was having fun and being in the moment. Being a Christian is knowing how to make other feel comfortable. and she did just that.
