You need time to grieve the loss. How can we ignore Des telling Brooks her conflict was having to share her heart when she wanted to give it to him? That she was conflicted going on other dates because she only wanted to date him?
Would Des really accept a proposal for the sake of the show? Who would believe it after what we just saw last Monday?
Bee, do you also notice that Brooks almost always brings up 'that could be my future wife' in just about every date they have? Is that left in for a reason?
Great catch, atem! They are leaving in many little clues along the way.
What was most telling to me was Brooks reaction when Des told him she loved him. He instantly questioned Des why she didn't tell him sooner. He also had a little grin on his face he couldn't hide.
he prob didn't mind she said that....and he still left. why not stay then if that mattered? that just made him feel worse for dumping her...it didn't make him love her more.
Welllll...where do I begin??? I think Brooks had been told that her connection with the other guys was stronger. I also think he had been told that the other two had said ILY to Des and he was falling behind. So I think his wanting to leave was a defense mechanism. I think Des telling Brooks that she loved him came as a complete surprise to him.
Why didn't he stay? I think he is thinking very strongly about things now that he knows...
Now why in the world would they tell Brooks her connection with the other guys were stronger when they knew Des said she was in love with him. They are risking her walking off the set if Brooks leaves....why would producers or whoever do that. I think that is totally not true. Brooks left cuz he wasn't feeling it. He started looking bored on their dates. He hardly says anything witty around her. He wasn't in love with her.

Out of curiosity, do we know if the producers also targeted Chris and Drew in terms of messing with their heads, seems we have discussed a lot about how the producers potentially interfered with Brooks's thinking just wondering if they just left Chris and Drew alone for the most part.

About the other two saying ILY to Des... I think Brooks got the question "Do you love Des?" from Drew or Chris because while talking to his sis & mom, he says - When I'm being asked "Do you love Desiree?" I really shy away from that question. Who asked him if not Chris or Drew? I think that scared him, and knowing that Drew and Chris loves her. He feels like his behind.

I personally think they mess with all of their heads. I wouldn't be surprised if they pushed Drew to say ILY so early in the season, etc.

Anything I post means it's Just My Opinion. Don't feel like posting it every time I post. So, I thought I'd get that out of the way.

In the video a few pages back. That is where the quote is that we were trying to figure out who says it.
Oh ok thanks.. I think we were talking about two different quotes. I was trying to figure out if Brooks has said the quote at 2:08 yet on this one.. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Personally, I think there was a lot of foreshadowing in his hometown date. Even though we can't prove that they messed with his head, you can see on the hometown date they were setting up for something major to go down. Especially from his brother who asked if Desiree was just gone, out of his life for good, would he do anything and everything to get her back? I'm almost sure that was a producer set up question to hint at whats to come. I'm sure at that point, they knew where Brooks head was at in this whole process and took advantage of that.

It's at 0:50 in this video. The quote "This is the worst day of my live. There is nothing I can say to make it better."

I've produced and edited film for reality TV and have intimate knowledge of what goes on "behind the scenes". But you don't have to believe me, treschicas. I'm okay with that. I respect everyone's right to have a difference in opinion. Have a good night!
