We had some friends over and the general feeling is that it has been beaten to death with the spoilers , teasers and hype. Most have no problem with Des but few are that impressed with the guys. We are just the geriatric demographic but last week was ugly and none if us really want a repeat. Two other couples are going to dinner with us tomorrow night and will read about it Tuesday morning. I think the final is going to be a letdown. Too much hype and little substance.

We must remember it a tv show and rating are the most important..since the spoilers came out so early and the ratings were tanking..they just had to create doubt and I think they did a excellent job...There probably will be no BIG surprise..

GMA promo: Chris and Drew at Rose Ceremony. Des tells them Brooks is gone. Peach dress. Chris in suit in promo shot that's been shown. She's crying. Promo shot where she puts her hand on her head and says she's sorry.

For those not in EST, promo was on at 8:37 EST.

Big surprise for me: Brooks ends up being a twin. He is in love with Des but the other twin, Big Bad Brooks (after the HTD) bound and gagged him and left in sis' basement and took off to Antigua for some fun, never realizing what was to come and Kaboom! Big Bad Brooks!!
Meanwhile mom and sis find Brooks in the basement all tied up and rescue him in time to fly to Antigua talk to savior CH and come back to save Des the damsel in distress.
ATFR announcement: Big Bad Brooks with be the next TB.
BTW--it was not Brooks on the cruise--it was Big Bad Brooks--he and Nate got to be best buds.

I was reading another interview CH did on another board and I have to say if it really is Brooks this relationship has been thrown under the bus and back up and run over again.

It most certainly has. And if spoilers hold true and fast, and they are truly a happy couple, engaged or not engaged, then I'd be pretty peeved about CH's interviews as a human reaction if in their shoes...if they believe whole heartedly that he his being 100% real.

Yes (in his blog) but he did not say that stuff over and over in all media outlets. Besides they were possibly building up Des``heartbreak`to pimp her as the next lead rather than for her to be of any consequence in Sean`s happy ending.
This is slightly different IMO.
As someone said earlier (sorry don`t recall who) that he took the bus and repeatedly went over that roadkill.

Think of how he gushed about Ash and JP. Now compare that here.

What if Des tells them she just isn't sure about the guys meeting her family? That she wants to spend time with them first, so they do the LCD before MTP's? That could work, and then Chris & Brooks could meet them and Drew never does?

Everything else is wonky, why not the order of the last few days?

I don't believe I read his blogs back then, but I'm sure it's safe to say this is like night and day from that. I can see post show success for them regardless because of what it seems it took to get there.
