Wow, that Jolly Podcast was fascinating! Totally thinking that Brooks was told that Des did not love him...I think that's why he said he thought she had more feelings for  Drew or Chris. Wetpaint writer is still saying there are two proposals at the end...I'll be VERY disappointed in Des if she let's Chris propose.

They said they don't blame Brooks or Des for what happened!

sorry but Des cried to Brooks and told him she loved him.....if he really loved her he wouldn't have left....sorry but Bres fans are grasping for straw here. I mean Des looked so desperately in love with him to his face. He knew and he still left. He never once said to his mom, sister or Chris H that thinking Des wasn't into him was an issue or that he felt like he was taking a risk with his heart cuz of the other two guys there. Didn't Des tell Brooks she was "running" and  Brooks said he was only "jogging"? I just don't feel like I'm watching the same show as some of you.

No desperate straw grab here simply stating what the facts seem to support. The other point Jolly made is that despite TPTB being mean and underhanded they would NEVER have left in all those ILY if Brooks wasnt coming back and final one. Said would be too brutal for her F1.

I agree they were brutal...but that's what they do...they did it in Emily's season too. Even though Jef was F1 they showed Emily saying how she couldn't resist Arie if she went to the FS with him.

I don't know if anybody noticed this but I will post the picture anyway.
The ring to the right is the ring Desiree said yes to, and to the left you can see Chris holding another ring who doesn't look the same. I think that the ring to the right is Brooks!

Yes the ring on the right is the one that Brooks chose I think but the ring Wetpaint showed does not look like the one on the left.

sorry but last year wetpaint described what was suppose to be the ring Jef gave to Emily and they were wrong. I wouldn't really believe this for sure.

Well, we just have to stay tuned for Monday! I don't doubt that Brooks chooses a beautiful ring anyway sooo..

okay but fact is Brooks wanted to leave cuz he wasn't feeling it for her. if he was told she didn't love him and then she goes and cries her eyes out and tells him in his face that she loves him and he still leaves then that means that it didn't matter if she loved him or not or what he thought...he just didn't love her. If he did he would have stayed once she told him.

I'm thinking we aren't, too, but for other reasons. At HTD, Des said she would skip, and Brooks said ok, I'll run.  We saw a lot of good things said by Brooks at HTD that you could tell he was moving forward, and feeling really good about it. What the heck happened? And I don't feel that Brooks was just not into Des.

I agree piper, he was very much into Des.  We would all like to know what got into his head in that 1 week.
One thing I thought about is what his sister said about it hurting when you are not with that person.  Brooks told Des that the time apart he did not feel like it was hard enough.  It all boils down to he had too much thinking time.

I'll have to go back and watch to make sure. During his last PI after he had left Dez... is that what he said? Did he leave the impression that he loved her after all? I'll post more after I go back and look... maybe I stopped listening because those scenes were so brutal in regards to Dez and her journey.

I watched the HTD again tonight, and NM, this time I pad more attention to what Jana said like you just mentioned. That was a very key thing in determining what might have happened, along with the question his brother Dave asked. CH said you had to look back at HTDs to understand the finale, and it was all about both questions and then the Boise visit.
