Another one that I noticed was in the Fantasy Suite of Des & Drew - isn't it a one story bungalow/building? Then why is it that the scene where apparently Des & Drew turned of their lights in the room looked like the bedroom is in the 2nd floor with veranda? What do you think?
I also agreed on somebody's post about Des & Drew's body language - their interactions & reciprocations are very normal of people who are attracted & have emotional connections. In fact, Des in one of her ITM's or VO .. she said that they have emotional connections.

I didn't even notice about the 2nd floor room, you're right, good observation. It was definitely one story when they walked in. Interesting. Is this sloppy production, or more clues?

This is how I see it. I do not think it's a sign that Drew is F1. I am not trying to be a downer here. Drew has been my favorite all season. I think he's an exceptional young man. However, I do have to go with what I believe. Before Monday night's episode, I did think that there was possibility that it might be Drew or even Chris. For all the reasons that some here have said so well, I did think Drew had a chance. However, once I watched that scene with Des and Brooks, I knew that for Des it had only been Brooks from very early on. She did not keep her promise to have an open mind with the guys. Maybe one could argue that Des said some stuff to make Brooks feel guilty, but her basic feelings of love for Brooks were quite obvious.
I have really enjoyed reading the posts from those who believe there was more between Des and Drew. I do think she liked him and was very attracted to him. But it was Brooks all along. The heart wants what the heart wants. However, I am not surprised that there were scenes with Drew that were never shown. For whatever reason, TPTB decided to give Drew a really weird edit. They didn't highlight him at all earlier in the season. I have no idea what's up with that.
I am just glad that Drew has his family with him before the ATFR show. He should be surrounded by those who love him best.
I agree. I did think that the body language from Des was very revealing when she was with Drew. Just to make it clear, I did think that there could be a chance for Drew because of the things that you and others have said. I saw the same things. However, when I watched that scene with Brooks and Des, to me it became apparent that Des only wanted Brooks and no one else. The one thing she said that really stood out to me, was her comment that while she went on dates with the other guys, she really just wanted to be with Brooks. That was quite telling. After seeing that, I realized that there was no chance for Chris or Drew. It didn't make me happy either.
Someone here said something about a comment Des made to Zak at the MTA. She said that he has that smile that covers up what he may be feeling. She said that she also does the same thing. Of course, I am paraphrasing here. But it appears that Des can fake it to a certain extent. I do believe that she enjoyed her time with Drew, was very flattered to have such a gorgeous guy giving her this kind of attention. I think she was pleasantly surprised that Drew also had a brain and a heart to go along with his great looks. I think she was physically attracted to him. But I believe that she set her heart on Brooks early on. After seeing that scene where Brooks dumped her, that was what I thought. I think it was a mistake on her part. She had three great guys in Zak, Drew and Chris. But it was Brooks all along.
I do think that Des has an immature approach to love. She has a history of choosing men who do not reciprocate; she hasn't learned yet even though she told Chris H during the first episode at her mansion that she had learned from this and wanted to find a husband who could freely express his love for her and communicate this to her. Ironically, she once again chose a man just like her old boyfriend (she might as well have kept him). And remember how she also cried over Sean, in a very immature fashion, with total lack of self-respect. Contrast her behavior with that of Lindsay Yenter, who took her rejection with such grace. Chris H alludes to the fact that Des has to learn from this in order to move forward. The problem is not that these men cannot express themselves, it is that they do not love her, something she is not able to discern like most mature women. What she has is called infatuation which is really an adolescent crush, typical for 8th or 9th graders. At her age, she should not even be thinking of falling in love with a man who has not strongly shown love and attraction for her. Women really fall in love with men who are first pursuing them. (since men run away from women who pursue them, lol) Brooks tried his best to communicate that he was not on the same page with her. I could see during the last couple of Rose ceremonies, he seemed to be willing her not to give him a rose, please, please, please don't give me a rose. Des may have revealed that she wants only Brooks, however, she wanted Sean too but moved on quickly, recovered and went on to be the Bachelorette. The thing Brooks said that no self-respecting woman would be able to move past, is that he did not miss her during their times apart. That is huge. I don't see how she will be able to overlook that, it would be a deal-breaker for me. But I am obviously not Desiree.

I think I'm at the point of overanalyzing every detail. Monday...please come already!
It was the first date after 14 hrs of traveling and a very tough RC releasing Zak JMO.

Thank you for confirming what I saw that the bedroom with lights off was in the 2nd Floor. I thought, it was kind of odd. I have a suspicion that last week!s episode were fragments of chopped scenes & were put together because of Brooks saga! LOL.
I'll check out the song, apparently Drew likes DMB Musics. I am certain, he is a romantic person. I can't wait to see him again on TV next Monday. Time is so slow when you are anxious.
I have a confession to make.....During the early episode, my #1 is Brooks, followed by Bryden then James (sorry). The early scenes were all for these guys. I even didn't know that Drew got a 1st impression rose & don't remember seeing his limo intro. Maybe, because I only got a glimpse of him for a minute or two. Then he appeared big time, when he gave that awakening speech to James about putting all his attention, time & focus just for Des. After that I paid attention to him and lo and behold after their Barcelona date... I was taken by Drew. I told my husband, how could a very handsome fellow be very humble, respectful, caring, loving, sincere, very upfront, no air at all and very mild mannered kind of guy. I can't believe that all these attributes all rolled into one for Drew. He reminds of those Prep Boys....unassuming, confident, charming, clean cut but knows how to have fun.
In view of my last paragraph, I'm so annoyed at people who make accusations that Drew is gay. Just because he has good looks, brain, heart, soft spoken, respectful and has good manners & conduct.....he's gay? Does he need to have tattoos, boastful, rambunctious, act like a gangster or have a loud mouth to be considered a heterosexual? Where in the world is coming to?I'm all for people coming out of their closets.....however, typecasting people are getting out of hand. LOL.
Okay, enough for that! A change of subject....I was reading Brooks Bio and the excerpts of his questionnaire. I read something that foreshadowed his self-elimination. The question was something like this "Why you come to the show? His 1st sentence was (I think it is) There might be a reality that I will not fall in love at all. Something like that. That thinking alone.....he already have reservations while applying. He went to the show just to get exposure & experience. No wonder, he questioned everything!
Anyway, I hope Des wises up & be smart not to accept Brooks when he comes back. She has the upper hand at that point....use it, because it will give her self-respect & strengthen her confidence that she can choose the guy that will love her.

They've been known to reuse lights turning out in more than one season so don't be surprised if that happened again.
I'm with NYC. I believe Des when she said it's always been Brooks so I'm not expecting it to be anyone else. I also think Drew will be just fine.

Really great post!
I highlighted some of the things that really stood out to me. I think Des has no idea what real love even looks like. She is all mixed up and looking for it with the wrong men.
The last part in bold is really key for me. That is the part that I could not forget and could not get past. I understand that I am decades older than Des and have so much more life experience. That is why I can say with clarity that I would not go back with someone who said that to me. Ever. It is a deal-breaker. You know, some things can be taken back with a sincere apology and an admission that one was wrong at the time, didn't really know what he wanted, had to lose it to find out. But there are things that are said that cannot be easily undone. That is one of them.
From where I am today, with what I have experienced in my own life, I would never take him back. But as you said, we are not Desiree. I respect that it is her life. She has to follow her own journey.

l just feel like SOMETHING weird went down, something shocking, and the ending was not something the producers wasn't expecting..like Des wanting Chris, but couldn't stand being without Drew who she let go already at the beach or something.. If i was the producers, l'll be like how do we fit Des&Drew story line that they loved one another, and that he wanted to put a ring on it ect ect ect...Well, this is what my crazy mind would think: lets make them do the scene with the fantasy date card over again, in particularly the night portion. Let the camera capture them talking about having each others others back, she needs to tell about her ex, and what she need is a man who's not afraid of telling her that he loves her and can communicate, a partner that can be a support system for each other..ect ect...And he need to talking about her being the perfect one (but Drew always talk like that about Des).. so the viewers can see that they where at the same page from the beginning...
the tell tell sign for me was when he said, something like: l haven't picked out a ring yet, but l was ready weeks ago. And the ups and the downs , and that they've come along way. And one more thing, when he ask's how does the future look like, she only smiles and says good. No questions no worries no nothing..almost like I've got this in the bag already
btw, look at her face when she hands him the date fantasy card key, she ain't no Angelina Joile for sure, ain't fooling me
