In typical CH fashion, I'm sure he convinces her that there are two guys still there that adore her and would propose to her in a second. He will encourage her to move on and be open to exploring her other relationships to see if there's anything there..
She has to finish the show one way or the other. Going home was not an option now matter how bad she wanted to.
Why are folks so insistent Des going home was not an option? We have a 2 part finale, it could have been a 1 part finale like the past twenty something seasons of this show.
Well for one thing...she is telling people watch next week for "happy tears"...

That last episode description sounds just as final as everything else lately. They say it's a shocking ending. Just moving on isn't shocking, at all, but her getting rid of Drew might be a little. Even more shocking would be Brooks coming back and her rejecting him and choosing Chris and saying she loves him.
It's just looking less likely all the time that Brooks actually ends up with her.
I do not get the spoilers, at all.
since we don't have close up Brooks SC I think yes he comes back and gets reject so she can save face and so her choice of Chris S. doesn't look like a default pick. Que Matt White and scene. Its BS anyway because all know that Brooks is the one she wanted. Whatever. Ready for this show to be over.

I forgot about the preview where he's crying. Crying after she rejects him, I suppose.
Well, would he make a good Bachelor?

You are kidding, right? No, he's not going to even close to being the next Bachelor.

Not that I know of, but it may be Drew.

Desiree is required to fill out a certain number of episodes for ABC, and NEXT productions had worked out deals with local venues for certain locales to be showcased. The option to end things would not kick in until those deals were fulfilled, so likely not until after the LCDs. That would also explain why Desiree was obligated to go through MTP and LCDs if she winds up turning down both Chris and Drew.mercieme wrote:nannymargie wrote:laurentx wrote:atem wrote:Well, she doesn't go home so...

I know. But, remember that L & S article does say she's engaged, remember?
Have they decided not to put a cover for her this time?

Also, I think it's a bad thing that Chris Harrison gets to speak to what Brooks did or didn't do and not give Brooks any chance to say what his thoughts were! Brooks can't even tweet! It's madding to me.

Anything I post means it's Just My Opinion. Don't feel like posting it every time I post. So, I thought I'd get that out of the way.

Barb, that is not a VO that exists. Des say, "after tonight I want him down on one knee. I love this man."

Do you remember where this was said, because I'd really like to listen to it again. I just can't imagine she'd feel she needed to say that about Chris since she knows all that he feels, and shouldn't be scared that he wouldn't. Unless she felt sure that Brooks would be there at the end and would propose, too, and then he breaks up with her at FD. It speaks more to Brooks coming back, expressing his feelings, asking for a second chance and after she agrees to that, she expresses he'd better get down on one knee and propose.BarbB222 wrote:Still hearing Des saying, After this, he BETTER get down on one knee and propose.
