It was stated by Brooks on his first date that he was just going to be himself.  James said he was the 'happy go lucky' guy and yet Desiree gave 'that guy' the rose. Desiree said she gave Brooks that rose to show him how much she cared.  We saw the openness of his family of Desiree with the group hug and his mom and sister saying how fond they are of Desiree.  They were at that filming of the HTD and saw how they interacted and they had a lot of fun doing it.  So, I'm just not getting why people are so negative about Brooks other than him not declaring his love as soon as others.

Dez is my girl. Chris, Brooks and Drew come last for me. If she chose anyone or if ANYONE got down on one knee, I want them to be committed as she is. If Brooks was concerned before HTDS.. how is he feeling going 3 months basically having to sneak to see her. If he came back after telling CH about his doubts, he did it out of guilt (IMO). Now we have ALOT of time away from Dez. Just don't see it working for him in the long run and that's not what I want for Dez....On this dumb show, Ryan Sutter stole my heart and along came Dez and joined him. I just want to see a HUGE smile from Dez ATFR however this ends up. End of story.

 

Excellent post  and I completely feel the same way.
I really like Des, I even stopped watching Seans season after she was booted - the other girls did not interest me at all.
I want to see her get her happy ending.

And I think regardless, she has 3 stellar options if she does choose someone at the end. I trust that she picked well and the best and hopefully everyone here on this board will be behind her choice 100% - even if we didn't "see" it with the guy during the season.

I would hope so but sadly am not so confident.

I agree too on the part about Des.  Didn't care about Sean's season once she left and the only time I think I've cried at an exit on the Bachelor.  She's such a breath of fresh air to me. Such a self-assured, mature, caring, positive woman at just 26 but also so fun, easy-going and personable.  I just love her.  A guy will be really lucky to have her.  I'm not worried about her sticking with a situation where she feels her love isn't being returned fully and or her being blind to red flags that come up.  I have total confidence in her to pick a guy she can give her whole heart to and get his in return or leave alone.

I've said this before on here, but I've never wanted a happy ending more for a lead and I really hope we'll see that on the ATFR.  I hate the previews seeing her so distraught and am tired of speculating about it.  I just hope she is back to her cute, happy self by the credits next week.

I think they're being cutesy with that ad because there's a RC site and we saw Chris & Des there. She probably just doesn't give out roses.

I would think so as well, but for that beach scene with Drew.   I may be wrong, but in that promo they show Drew's pic on some dresser or something while she's thinking.  I still think she's letting him go and he's trying to process what happened and is in shock.

I'm probably wrong though. I was about Brooks being the one of the men she has questions about and that he was the 'last guy she had to talk to' before the Final 4 RC.

Yep he does, but the person is to tall to be Drew.

I agree, Drew is not that tall.. definitely not 6'2", unless Des is really tall because in heels she is not much shorter than him. When Des stands next to Brooks, even in heels, he is still much taller. I think CH is 5'10/11" ish. I saw him and his family at DFW airport a few years ago.

I'll have to go back and look at the pageant SC's where they're all lined up, or a recent RC to see the height difference.. also a SC of Des standing next to CH.. good find!

I posted this in the SC thread, but thought I would try here in case any super sleuthers are on this thread.

I have been away for a week, so trying to catch up. Has the new TV Grapevine preview shot of Des looking over the railing at the F3 RC been discussed (after she talks to CH)? I don't see that shot in Love_Me's screencaps.

Near the end of the TV Grapevine preview, there is a new section with the back of Des in her long dress looking over the railing with the pictures to the right. It looks like there is possibly three picture frames in this wider shot - if the object in the bottom right of the wide shot is indeed a picture frame.

The section I am referring to is immediately after she is talking to CH, shaking her head and it fades out and then she is looking over the railing. Before it zooms in on her, you can see something that looks like a third picture frame on the bottom right. I wish I knew how to do screencaps!!
