Just my speculation, but I'd bet that Brooks has not encountered many situations in his life where he isn't adored and fawned over by his family and friends. I've had many, many students like Brooks over the years -- a charming, great-looking, easy-going guy who probably got through life and school without altercations because of those traits. Kids like that always have lots of admirers in their corner and typically don't ever find themselves without someone to bail them out of trouble. Unfortunately for Brooks, his family and friends have nothing to say or do with the story that Fleiss is telling, whether it is true or not. I bet that Brooks doesn't know what hit him.

Brooks lives in Utah and only 2 siblings live in Utah. He has a job that is basically like what Desiree did. So, if it's good enough for Desiree, why not Brooks?  

He did live in his sister's basement while he went to college, but doesn't any more.

His SIL tweeted that he's lived in South America for 5 years. I don't know if Costa Rica is one of them, but he's lived there and many other places and speaks Spanish.

I guess I'm trying to get where he was 'bailed out of trouble'?

Doubt the accuracy of that assessment unless trouble means something other than bad or negative behavior.

Based on all the pictures I've seen of Brooks has always has that look in his eyes. That's just his look. He doesn't look sad or worried. If anything, he just might not be 100% into getting his picture taken with the person.

I don't think we can know for sure that he gets in a lot of trouble and that other people bail him out. It sounds like he's a pretty free-spirited, independent guy.

for those who haven't seen this yet on episode 11, (finale part 2) thread, looks like there is a possibility that the ATFR has audience after all...

Not sure if this has been discussed but a bachelor blogger - Office Stace (she keeps away from spoilers) thought she had the opportunity to attend the ATFF and was unable to because she found out it was a closed set. That is interesting. I don't think it has anything to do with the spoilers being wrong. If it is live, leaks wouldn't get out anyway, so a closed or open set wouldn't matter.
But why closed? To continue the "illusion" of a mysterious ending?

I think they may have just tried to let this Office Stace down easy - it's not closed to people they invite

I wrote that my comment about Brooks and his lack of personal responsibility was purely speculation and I suppose that I should have expected the responses I received. I stand by my post whole heartedly. Whether he needed "bailing out" with a room in which to sleep, financial help when looking for or leaving a job, academic help (no I have no proof of this, but I've taught for 30 years and I can smell an underachiever from a mile away), or even needed help deciding how he was supposed to feel about a lovely woman on a game show, Brooks gives the distinct impression that dealing with choices and responsibilities on his own is a rarity.

I am not posting in the Brooks Fan Club Forum and I won't unless I have something glowing to say. For the third time, this is pure speculation. Don't listen if you choose not to. There are just some posters whose opinions we don't wish to read. Feel free to take my advice and read the name of the poster first....THEN decide if you want to read their post.

Thanks of that info!! I always thought "closed" meant only those "invited'. As I kept saying, it's not because of leaks, because they aren't seeing anything early.
