This is not meant to be negative - just looking for clues and trying to be objective.

Are there any photos people have taken of Brooks since filming where he looks truly happy? I see him smiling with his mouth in this last photo, but his eyes aren't smiling. Maybe he is tired of being asked to pose with people, maybe he wasn't feeling good. Could be a multitude of reasons, including he just got caught before he gave his best smile. But my overall feeling is that the photos I've seen of Brooks don't look like he's in a really happy place. The photos I've seen of Drew and Chris look they are MUCH happier. Doesn't mean either of them is F1, but I can't help but feel that Brooks isn't looking forward to the near future.

Maybe it's because the other two have moved on but Brooks not liking the separation bides his time until the Finale. The other two might have nothing to hide whereas Brooks does.

I'd also imagine that Brooks is not looking forward to the judgmental comments that are imminent. Even if they are engaged, the fact that he appears wishywashy and makes Des so upset will offer plenty of critique. No matter the ending, the next few weeks could be ugly and I bet Brooks is somewhat aware of that...though depending on the outcome, it could be even uglier!! If I were in his position my eyes wouldn't be smiling either!!

I completely agree.. Between watching a devastated Desiree and the other overnight dates, he'll be viewing this episode through his fingers. And knowing he'll have to deal with fallout.

His hair definitely looks shorter! New cleaned up look?

I've wondered how he could be feeling about what everyone thinks of him after things started to change on the show. She declares her love for him and at the same time he is hesitating and now he's about to "reject" her! It's probably pretty frustrating that he can't speak up for himself and defend himself in any way. On top of that the cougar pictures. Then if he's engaged he has to keep that a secret too. Three months of waiting might have seemed doable in the early stages especially when he was the spoiled F1 and he was getting so much positive attention from fans. But the next few weeks will put him through a major test. In my mind though I think Brooks has the willpower to get through the last hurdle. I can't wait for ending. Even if I wasn't spoiled and even if he wasn't my favorite I'd still be seeing all roads leading to team Bres ending. It bugs me not knowing how its going to happen but I'm guessing it will after following the storyline all season.

And he will prove that he isn't wushu washy at all..per the write up saying something about him being the last man standing he wanted to make sure he could propose.....

I think they will finish that story line to show he wasn't wushu washy...
