I know this probably doesn't belong in this thread, but I am just commenting on a recent post here about Chris and the roses. If he was handing out roses, I don't think he is the winner or they were filming the next Bachelor….both too obvious, too public, too soon.

Seems extremely odd to me, and sort of out of line, too. But what do I know since I am not one that keeps up with the goings on before and after each season. I come to the boards only during the season itself.

I know its a brain fart. The only thing I can think of that comes REMOTELY close to this is at the ATFR a few years ago ( I forget which season/maybe Andy Officer and a Gentleman). They did a check-in with past Bach/Ette contestants commenting on the show but it was before the Bachelor Pad franchise was created. I recall Erica Rose, Sadie, and others being featured. :greenman:

I guess but as I said before it seems like a lot of time, money, & energy just for a gotcha moment. Doing nothing would have be just as effective since by the nature of the Brooks F1 spoiler the outcome of Chris would be a surprise. Also, all the mag covers have Drew and Brooks on them and don't mention Chris at all. Additionally, the fact that he is handing out roses would actually lead people would think its more Bachelor related than F1 so IMO, its actually perpetuating the Brooks spoiler rather than its going against it.

They have never done anything like that before so why start now...I am tentatively believing the spoilers but things still don't add up for me.

Keep the faith, everyone! Filming in Seattle, handing out roses points away from F1 to me. I don't think they would bring that kind of attention to the F1 or pay for a production crew to go somewhere in an effort to make Des feel good about moving to a certain city. History shows that even if Chris is F1, that move might not even happen. TPTB are so over this season and revving up for next. What seemed like a sure thing, they have turned into a head-scratching flurry of all kinds of speculation. They've done all they can do for ratings for this season.

What does point to F1 is this very recent influx of Brooks sitings with photos with fans. You know he is very recognizable and has seemed like the F1 for some time. I know this can be explained away just like the Chris handing out roses thing which IMO is a lame explanation for that.

If this is all some campaign to make Des feel comfortable about moving to Seattle, it's beyone the scope in my opinion. Have TPTB ever been so public in trying to ensure that a couple have the best chance of surviving outside of the bachelor bubble? Would they really care?

I don't think they really care what happens after the show. If they did they would make sure these couples had PR people to help guide them through the messy tabs stuff.

The handing out of roses doesn't make sense in a way. It is way too soon to film anything for a possible Bachelor lead. They would not do that in such an open space before the finale has even aired.

Wait a second....you maybe on the right track...Maybe it had to do with bach/ettes from Seattle. Catherine was just there for one day. Maybe she also filmed something. Who knows.

Mind games! Des is like a locked vault per Ali and everyone else is trying to spill the beans? Another masterful creative move with possible logical explanation not including them giving away an ending that they want hush hush .

Desiree also mentioned the twist and turns, if you can recalled, that was mentioned by Brooks to the young lady. It starts out about .59 into the interview.
