I was just in RS thread and a thought occurred to me. Suppose it is Nate at Brooks door. They talked and Brooks did not like what he heard. Brooks then speaks to CH about it first who convinces him to tell Des. I cannot see any other scenario that would cause this kind of conflict. The write-up said that Brooks was ready to propose when he came to Antigua. So the I love scenario just do not jive, plus I believe that Nate has a much bigger role that just appearing at F4 and then chilling until MTP.

So has the possibility been considered that when CH is asking Brooks if he is sure he doesn't love this woman (or something like that I havent watched the clip) he is actually talking about a woman other than Des? I smell something rotten here and I am not buying that it is because Brooks just cant figure out his feelings quick enough.....

In thinking about this whole scenario, would Brooks really go to CH before a FD for this serious convo if he was just unsure about his feelings? There is time left to figure that out (imo of course) and he seemed to be falling for Des soooooooo......I believe it is some specific event that has happened that Brooks or CH know has to be disclosed to Des because it is gonna come out...either during filming or after the show. Feels a lot like those times when someone shows up or calls the lead to let them know that someone is not there "for the right reasons"...Maybe in this case, Brookes is there for the right reasons but based upon events it may not appear that way...Kinda like CH trying to do damage control and letting us see it to make it more believable. Just some early morning thoughts.

But .. This series of SCs has bugged me since first seeing them .. Could it possibly be THE one and only SCs of the FRC with Brooks as the F1

I have thought so before, but when I tried to sleuth it and asked for confirmation who, when where would I find the information I got shot down.  
Brooks hugs people with his hands on their heads.  on his htd, he did that to his mom.  I think it's Des' arm around his neck, her head on his chest, his hand holding her head and his head on his hand.  remember we were told that to some producers it looked like tears of joy, they eye folds went up.  

Jeepers, I will gladly stand here and get hit with tomatoes with you on this...   

 
I'm not afraid of any tomatoes! They deliberately made that screen cap so close up so we can't see anything else. You could be right either FRC or they are making up.

On an urelated note, I would get very wigged out if someone was up that close on my face! (get out of my bubble!)

I've always hoped so. I don't think it's part of the blue t-shirts situation so must be another time with Brooks in Antigua. It's so close up that nothing can be drawn from it (ie what's the cloth thing, is he with Des) and they end the preview on it so seems important. I'm going to make the jump that it's their reconciliation. I thought that when I first saw it.

True! And these press releases have been exaggerated all season so who knows! I just wonder what he STILL has to talk to CH about even after meeting with his family.
