well, she's wearing the peach dress that she had on when she talked to CH. we saw in the background the framed pics of drew and chris so it would seem to me it is the F3 and brooks is not there because he has left. i think they are being extra stingy with caps because of the twist at the end. right now they want us to think she ends up with no one. if it is brooks & chris at the FRC i bet they will probably make all the legs & feet look exactly the same to throw us all off.

Frankly, watching that sneak peek preview again where CH says, "Are you telling me you're not in love with this girl?" I have to feel sorry for Brooks. He gets in deep and he needs more time. I can understand that. He's had two one on one dates, a few group dates (where she's dating and kissing all the guys), she's met his parents and he hasn't seen her any other time and he's suppose to propose? Really, that's quite farfetched, even for fast-movers.

I admire that he's taking it so seriously; that he isn't willing to go any further without addressing his issues with his family and with CH. He's honest. He doesn't want to hurt Des. He is admirable.

He probably does feel that Des has her sights on him at this point. She probably made it totally apparent somehow. It's all on his broad shoulders at this point and he's the man; treats women with respect. He's doing the right thing. You have to respect him for that.

The whole CH/Brooks talk reeks of producer manipulation. CH telling him he MUST go tell Des whatever it is right that moment? If it is about "being in love", or proposing, he most certainly was not obligated to talk to Des about it before their date. He should have been able to go on the date and just let stuff happen naturally which we've seen it was heading that way. making him tell her "not sure I'm in love yet" or "no proposal" was not necessary at that moment. Brooks probably wasn't prepared for that talk so he probably didn't explain his feelings in the most efficient way and thus why afterwards we see him distraught, in tears saying it is the worst day of his life and he can't do/say anything to fix it. I do not think it is an ex-girlfriend situation, that ish would have been over the tabloids so fast and the post show Des would not seem to think so fondly of her steamy hot tub sesh with Brooks or the butterflies in her stomach when she picked him up for their first date.

stop and think... if CH is talking to Brooks like an uncle he might say... so Brooks, Des is devestated, she couldn't even go on with the rose ceremony yesterday... what are you thinking about your relationship with Des?  and Brooks might run through all his doubts, crap and such and such, and 'uncle Chris' says... Are you telling me you're not in love with this girl? Brooks might say that indeed he is (or might say he is not)... then 'uncle Chris' says "you need to go tell Des this now" perhaps the part about 'before you screw this whole thing up' was cut.

That's how I perceived it.

 I def prefer the above scenario. That would work if this whole CH/Brooks thing went on after the Bres meltdown but it appears it happened before and was a catalyst to the blow up by forcing Brooks to tell her right then before they even got to go on the date where who knows, he might have been able to sort his feeling and realize them naturally. That why I smell producer stink in this whole CH/Brooks "heart to heart."

it's possible, but that (green?) fabric looks kind of casual to me for a FRC gown. i'm guessing it is when brooks leaves des on the FD but am not positive. he does look pretty broken up about it from what we've seen. there are a lot of scenes we haven't seen yet: MTP, no FRC that we know of. we haven't seen much of FS scenes either if any. they are holding them all back to enhance the DRAMAS.

Brooks hugs people with his hands on their heads.  on his htd, he did that to his mom.  I think it's Des' arm around his neck, her head on his chest, his hand holding her head and his head on his hand.  remember we were told that to some producers it looked like tears of joy, they eye folds went up.  

Jeepers, I will gladly stand here and get hit with tomatoes with you on this...

You know, I hit on this thought in another thread, but why is it all about Brooks having to speed up (something that doesn't seem to be his style) and go Des' way? Maybe it's Des that needs to learn to bend a little and come his. She is racing ahead and he's trying desperately to keep up and she's putting a lot of pressure on him. MAYBE what she learns, the learning curve she refers to, is that she realizes that if she wants him (which she professes she does) she needs to come his way a little bit. Maybe that's what she means by wants vs. needs. She wants him to be the racehorse, a guy to just race to the finish with her, and she learns, by the end, that if she wants him she's going to need to come his way.

She sacrifices her want of the race to the finish for what she needs, him, even if that means slowing down a bit.

I mean, really, why is it all about Des?

 Yup. She's getting what she wants from Chris and Drew. Assurances and proclamations of love. But what she needs imo is to be with the man she is in love with and I believe returns those feelings even if it is at a slower pace than the others. It actually would mean more to me if i were in that position to know the guy thought it through and even struggled a little because that would show me he is serious about it and when he did say it, I'd know he truly believed it and meant it. TPTB are getting what they want though. My friend (unspoiled) is drinking the :koolaid:and thinks Brooks isn't right for her because he seems so unsure still. She says she should have kept Zak instead since he really loves her. SMH.

Well, love is a two-way street and maybe she needs to learn that. I think it's totally possible she needed to learn that. After all, she only has her brother, who she doesn't seem close to at all, and left her family and has little to do with any of them. She lives a pretty selfish life. Then along comes Brooks who doesn't follow her plans, yet, stick in her craw, she can't get over the fact that she's in love with him. She's waiting, she wants him to start to rush. She's waiting, waiting. And eventually he starts to feel the pressure to the point where he's really questioning everything and might not think he can give her everything she wants, even though he would like to explore further. CH tells him to tell her his problems, knowing how Des has talked and how she'll act. And she can't handle it. It's not what Brooks wanted. He just wanted, hopefully, to get her to see things his way a little. She wants that perfect race to the finish, though. The others are giving her that, for sure. Brooks is left going "This is the worst day of my life. There's nothing I can say." She thinks she doesn't want to love someone who doesn't love her as much. She always loves the wrong guys. She soon learns that if she wants to keep Brooks she's going to need to think of him a little more.

Her learning curve is she learns that if she REALLY wants to be with Brooks she's going to have to bend and give and come his way a little. If she doesn't, she's going to lose him. And he, in turn, learns he loves her, for real, because he thinks he's lost her (like his brother predicted). They both come together, in the end.

Poor Brooks. So, they throw him under the bus for drama. Oh, and they got it. And they probably stood back, mouths open and some grinning.

No wonder Brooks said "weird twists." He probably did not expect what happened and still thinks about it that way.
