The logistics of the "Brooks stays home" sequences must have been challenging.  Did they bring his mother down from Idaho again?  Fly him up to Boise?  I assume the sister is the one with the long black hair that was featured in the HTD.  

Definitely a lot of care and feeding from production for someone who is not F1.  (Just to be clear:  I still think it's Brooks or no one. )

It's probably more discussion right after she leaves and he is still there since he has last FD.

Definitely what I am thinking too. His mother and sister probably stayed for a couple of days after the HTD. I'm sure he was told he would be having the last FD so logically speaking, he may have convinced one of the producers let him stay until the last possible moment before heading to Antigua and let him figure out what exactly he was feeling for Des.

This will be Bres' story. So much detail to chronicle his journey to Des as much as Des' journey to Brooks. Why spend time on his POV if he's not F1. They are building a storyline with a happy ending.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that when they talk about Brooks in the U.S., it's prior to him leaving home after the HTD to travel to Antigua.  Anyone else think that?  It didn't come across to me that he traveled to Antigua and then back to Utah again.  But I'm usually wrong, LOL.

That's not what the poster is saying. More like we will see snatches of Brooks at home while dates are going on in Antigua.

What I got from it was that after HTD RC he went back to Utah to figure things out and then heads to Antigua. But it would make more sense for them to film that prior to HTD RC. Bizarre!

Brooks flies to LA for the RC right after his HTD. According to the episode summary, they are going to show him back in SLC/Idaho after that. So it will be presented that instead of going to Antigua, he went back to SLC/Idaho. (Aren't the contestants kept in the bubble/not allowed to hang out with their families/in the real world even when they're not being filmed a particular day?)

But I could definitely see how they would have had extra footage from the HTD that they could present as having occurred later, after the LA rose ceremony. To be convincing tho, Brooks his mom and sister would have to be wearing different clothes.:Smiley:

I was forgetting about the RC in LA. More time with his family would be right after HTD and before the RC in LA. He's not going back to Utah before Antigua. My bad.

That's certainly what I would think. I thought he knew where his head/heart were at during the HTD. Bizarre, indeed.
