This just occurred to me. What if something happens between Des and Brooks to cut their FD short..a falling out? She sends him home. She then has two FDs with Chris and Drew. She is sad before the RC, lots of crying, talks with CH. But at the F3 rose ceremony, Brooks comes back. That leaves us with a cliffhanger...the question will then be..will she accept him? The next week, she does, of course, accept Brooks..they get to have a FD?? On Drew's LCD, she cuts Drew loose. That leaves Chris and Brooks at the FRC. Brooks wins.

They are showing us what they want us to see and believe. Like mind control. It will be clear in the Finale.

Just like they are showing a scene and making some feel that Drew will be sent home too. Doubt that will happen.

I believe that was during Drew's horseback riding date where the convo gets intense. It is made to appear as if Des is saying: "I don't know if I can be 100% for you."
"I don't know if I" is a VO--we don't see Des say that.
"can be 100% for you."  is what she says to Drew.

Good point Kasha. So, maybe, just maybe, Drew does stay as what they show, sometimes isn't exactly how things go

Okay, off topic, but I just went back and watched their first date... She is absolutely glowing, no other guy has made her feel like Brooks did that very first date. It's him, it's always been him. Someone else has probably already called this, but I'll say it again, theme song post-rose ceremony - Andy Grammer "I Choose You"...

Bottom line, I think most everyone agrees he is her chosen one, but he holds the cards. Something derails them next week temporarily, but I believe if he hadn't come back she would have chosen no one.

I rewatched again and there is a strangeness to CH's words that bothers me...

"This season's ending is like no other, due to circumstances that none of us could have anticipated. Obviously not even you (to Des)." She shakes her head "no" and shakes her head with a funny face.

Perhaps, I'm reading too much into it but that sounds so bizarre to say if it just him leaving. There has to be more. Something about the word "circumstances" seems like it something that was out of their control.

I don't think anyone, other than the spoiled people on here, are incriminating Brooks right now. TPTB have made all the guys on the show look like they break Des' heart next week, except maybe Chris. They make it look like she breaks Chris', though.

They haven't made Brooks look any worse than any of the others. So, in that regard, TPTB are being pretty nice to Brooks. I also don't think that unspoiled people have the same expectations for Brooks. I think they, generally, might be a little nicer toward him and just don't know what's going on. I'm glad for that. TPTB have always, generally, been pretty nice to Brooks, which is another indication that he's F1, to me. Not that that matters in the least to me, since I love the idea of Brooks still being swinging single. I often don't get what I want, though.

Also they show only Des and Drew in FS. No Chris and of course no Brooks. But Millsy says Drew's will be the steamiest . Why not allude to even Chris in a FS?

I don't see any other scenario than him leaving that explains her words or that would warrant the level of crying we get next week. She is inconsolable.

The one thing she said that gave me pause tonight was when she said to James "if you felt 100% like we had something, you would be confident in that"...seems kinda hypocritical of her to take Brooks back if he wasn't confident in them either and left. It doesn't fit!

BTW - did Love Me and San spoil Brooks as F1 right away?  what was the date?

Actually the Antiguaparadise poster came on and said that Brooks and Chris are gone and Drew is left. Love_Me came on and said it was what she was hearing too. Then the next day, San said that it is Brooks as F1....at least what I think from my memory.

On the 8th...the supposed FRC, per RS (which is wrong, it was the 6th per L&S mag).

We also know L&S is wrong about some stuff...so who knows?! Perhaps its the 7th!  

But wasn't there a tweet about Chris Harrison being on a flight from Antigua back to the states on the 7th? OR, do I have that date completely wrong??

Thank you!! I felt the same thing. There is something very odd about the way Chris looked as he spoke those words, then Des' face was a very interesting study. I re-watched her expressions about 40 times, in slo-mo back and forth. There is something going on. She had the same expression as when she was punking Sean. Did you sense that?
