No, and that's the problem! I think everyone seems sure that Brooks leaves. And it's casting doubt on his true self, what's truly in his heart. I don't think he's any less a good man, thoughtful man than Chris or Drew, but the previews, etc. are giving the impression that he's not, that he's washy washy. If he can't quite tell Des what the others have just yet, or he is hesitant, I actually admire that because this never is the way dating goes outside of the bachelor bubble. You aren't dating someone that is dating other people at the same time. Not usually anyway. I don't see how the positive he was feeling at HTDs takes a 180 degree turn unless Des turns the table on him. What if she lets him go? That turns most of the speculation around. Whatever happens, if Brooks is the F1 that has been spoiled to be engaged to Des right now, and she is over the moon, then I can believe they both are 100% committed and will not run out on the other anytime soon.

thank you for the reply Piper. I'm not sure about what happens, but I believe the spoilers that Brooks is F1. I can't imagine how they managed to manufacture the drama, but I trust that it was cruel. Des lights up whenever she is in the same room with Brooks, she giggles and blushes when CH talks about him to her. it is obvious that she loves him and I can in no way see her accepting a proposal from Chris or Drew. she loves both of them, but she is in love up to her eyebrows with Brooks, and based on Brooks htd, he is totally in love with her.

I can't wrap my head around this. Brooks bowing out and then changing his mind doesn't feel good to me and seeing Desiree so totally distraught sucks. I hate it. I can't get to a place in my mind where I like this ending so better for me to stop speculating. Going to try to stick to re-watching my happy Bres moments to keep the positive, as it's getting harder to.

This is going to be a long 2 weeks.

Atem, I value and admire your opinions but why are you still here if its a lost cause? We all want to know what happens and are trying to piece it together.

My things I'm trying to piece together...

Brooks/Drew on the I'm Engaged L&S that doesn't mention a dramatic exit (all indications that the ending is normal)
No indication from ANYWHERE of a dramatic exit or return (spoiler, rags)
MTP and two rings with a "yes" proposal at Dow Hill or Verandah (depending on who you believe)
SC of Drew/Chris on FDs and LCDs
4 spoilers say Brooks as F1
1 spoiler says Drew is F1

Perhaps, its not worth trying to figure out but we've got two weeks...so I'm rolling up my sleeves. I hope you'll continue to provide your insight. :Smiley:

I thought I posted this but maybe it didn't go through.
I noticed odd wording from Des with the word "prior" at MTA just like Brooks uses odd wording of "prior " at last RC.

I do believe that Brooks is F1, too, and just don't want to wrap my head around the negative, unless it really is manufactured drama like you point out. Totally believable because my eyes are not deceiving me when I watch the two together. I follow everything you said. I do think she was able to feel for Chris and Drew but in the end, to choose one of them would have been settling, and not allowing herself to reciprocate their love for her the same way. That had to be so difficult.

They talk alike all the time. 'Perfect'...'you know' and she even used 'absorb' with Zak like Brooks always uses.
