I haven't forgotten the shout out in Des' blog about the steamy hot tub time with Brooks (in AC)..Whew!  and it was totally not shown in the episode.

Why??

No angst here, all answers will soon be learned in the next two weeks.  I'm just enjoying the ride, and hoping that not too much of Bres time is reduced because of whatever happens between the two.

 That particular shout out you mention above is something I always refer back to when people question how people can still believe spoilers with how his current edit/lack of screen caps is going. Des is suppose to base her blog on the episode that airs and that she watches ahead of time. Brooks time in the hot tub was not aired so didn't have to be mentioned. She chose to mention it and let everyone know that Brooks was on her mind while writing that blog, after the fact. I'm sure her F1(if not named Brooks) would prefer her not reminiscing about a steamy hot tub session with her "ex" especially if it wasn't shown as part of the episode. That one particular episode in Atlantic City was the only episode where she could have not mentioned Brooks and have no one think anything of it and yet she still couldn't help but throw something in there about him, and a pretty juicy tidbit at that. She just as easily could have thrown in about his Ukelele (spelling?) antics which would have been less provocative/glaring but she chose otherwise.

Unless the hot tub scene never happened. If her plan and TPTB plan is to foil RS, what is real and what isn't? I am 90% sure the spoiler is true, but one of these days, it would be pretty powerful to actually have a surprise ending. It could revive the franchise IMO.

 I am 99.9% sure the hot tub happened because there were screen caps of it prior to the episode airing with her leg practically in between both of his. I remember everyone here was ticked because they didn't show it in the actual episode.

We did have a SC showing them having time together in the hot tub, and there was discussion about the placement of Des's legs seemingly between Brooks' legs.

Yes but we did not see the steamy make out session that Des talked about.

Right, nannymargie, which is why her mentioning it in her blog was quite telling ... No reason to mention something that wasn't aired in the episode, especially if someone else is the F1. I'm sure any guy who wasn't her F1 other than Brooks would want to know why and not be thrilled with that statement.

A few more observations about Brooks' HTD:

When speaking with his sister, when she said "you should always want to be around that person and it should be hard for for you to be away from them"....the look of recognition on Brooks' face said a lot. TPTB didn't let him resond, of course, as they didn't let him respond to his brothers' line of questioning either. I wonder how much is on the cutting room floor?

During these all-important questions & during the emotional talk with his mom, there is this beautiful music in the background, music we
haven't heard before on the series. I usually think TPTB are messing with us when I hear certain music they've used in the past to throw us, ( ex.- sweepingly romantic overture during Ali & Chris L's FD) trying to make us believe he was F1.

I'm gonna bet we hear that music score again when Brooks has his epiphany...he's going to go back to those conversations he had with his family members ( they were left in the edit for a reason, and they played that romantic score to make it more memorable to the audience!) and we will keep hearing this beautiful score as he makes his declaration to Des. We're going to hear the VO " I'm in love with Des".

 

 yes, I've mentioned that score before. It is so beautiful yet also pivotal. And it wasn't anything familiar that I've heard on the show in the past, at least that i can remember. I could totally hear it coming again whether it be at the "make up" for Bres or the actual FRC. We have NOT heard Brooks say the "I'm in love with Des" or "I'm in as love as I've ever been." Both sound like him to me but I very sure the second one is him. I've noticed the phrase "reconnecting" used btw Bres alot and I think it will be used and demostrated throughout the final episodes coming up all the way up to their engagement at FRC.

Yet another one of the themes of "The Des & Brooks Story"!!!

AWWW I like that but know matter how it happens we are going to cry because we have seen how heart broken both of them were over what ever it was that caused this problem between them.

To his sister Brooks did respond, tho he spoke over her so it was hard to hear.  He said,  "Is there longing?"  And I totally agree about that look of recognition on is face when she said that--just the slightest smile.
 
As for the cutting room floor, I'm sure his family didn't just jump straight to the marriage issue (his Mom and Nathan) and skip the "Do you love her" question.  Of course, they wouldn't show that, because his Edit atm is that he hasn't said ILY yet.  I wonder what Brooks did say to that?

I believe there's a picture of Desiree and Brooks at Getty images of them black bathing suits taken in the spa..I don't know how to transport it over here or I would. I know you guys are way saavy over here...

AWW I sure do. Des is so in love with Brooks I know she will do everything she can to make this work. Plus Brooks sister in law says he take relationships seriously so I think they have a good chance in the outside world.
