As much as I like Des, I've gotten to this point as well.   Also, if Brooks is into all this love analysis with the brain chemistry love brings, endorphins et al, I would dread his day to day decision making analysis.  Not sure how Des is but analysis paralysis would drive me bonkers.  If past is prologue, Brooks seems a bit of a "floater" when compared to some of the other guys who have some accomplishments at their ages...Brooks is still finding himself, which is fine, but not for someone thinking about grown up things.  Des  strikes me as a 'go-getter', on her own since 18, knows her mind and most likely has a plan for how to accomplish what she wants.  Brooks, not so much.

I probably don't have the facts completely right here, but there was a season of Bach Pad where they split up what would have been a single episode right before the RC - well, in Bach Pad's case, the elimination ceremony. I think IIRC the people are all lined up, CH talks, then Jake asks to interrupt the EC and talk to Vienna. The episode ends there. The next week's episode starts with Jake-vienna's talk followed by the EC, followed by the new weeks' episode.

So TPTB have had a trial run at this already.

Plus Des had to exit the MTA set because she got to emotional during the preview of the finale.

I don't remember the lead ever being there for the previews.

Me neither.

At the very end of MTA, it's said by CH and during the ending, people from the audience describe how she was crying.

The guy works for a marketing company, he speaks fluent spanish, writes concert reviews, and even writes marketing blogs. As for Des "leading people on", isn't that the nature of the show? They all sign up knowing that its a 1 and 25 shot of being the final one. And since its how the show is done -- the leads needs to take someone to the end. All 8 Bachelorette and 17 Bachelors have done it. I fail to see how Des is any different. Why because she knew early on who she wanted...then so she just as guilty as Trista and Meredith and Ashley, and Brad 2.0 and Jillian...Des is not first and she won't be the last. Chris and Drew are big boys. They will get over it. In fact, it looks like if neither is F1 they already have.
